We join you in lifting up these precious souls before our Heavenly Father and we rejoice at your heart for their salvation, for this is the very heart of God toward all people.
We are reminded that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, and that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. His love is shown in that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6.
We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through faith in Him that any are saved, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9, for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up each one you have placed on this heart, the women and the man mentioned and the family that has been brought before you. Lord, you know each name and each heart even where they are hidden from our eyes. If any among them have not yet believed on your Son, we ask that you would draw them to yourself by your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, grant them repentance and faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that you raised Him from the dead. Remove any blindness or hardness of heart and let the gospel be clearly heard and understood. For those in the family who may already know you, we ask that you would strengthen their faith and use them as a light to those around them. Save them, Lord, wash them in the blood of Jesus, give them new hearts and eternal life, and keep them in your grace. We ask that you would place laborers across their paths to share the truth of your Word with love and boldness. We trust your perfect will and your great mercy, and we thank you that you hear our prayers when we ask according to your will. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.
