We join with you in this cry for deliverance and cleansing, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name alone that we have authority and access to the Father and freedom from every dark influence.
We understand how music and sounds and words can lodge deeply in the mind and spirit, and how the enemy seeks to use such things to torment, to bring back old events and to keep a person looking backward. Scripture warns us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12, and that we must guard what we allow before our eyes and into our ears. We encourage you to completely remove and destroy any demonic music and to have no fellowship with it again, and to replace it intentionally with what honors God. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things, Philippians 4:8. We are transformed by the renewing of our mind, Romans 12:2, and we are to be throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5.
The Lord does not want you bound to the past. He calls us to look ahead to Him. Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, Philippians 3:13-14. And He says, Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, Isaiah 43:18-19. Jesus also said, No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God, Luke 9:62, so we agree with you for grace to keep your eyes fixed forward on Christ.
We rebuke every demonic spirit and every assignment of the enemy that has tried to cling to your memories, your mind, and your past events, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We stand on the promise that you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. We submit ourselves therefore to God and resist the devil confident that he will flee from us, James 4:7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your complete deliverance for this dear one. Wash away every memory, sound, word, and title of that demonic music and every lingering influence of those past events. Cleanse the mind and heart and create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them, Psalm 51:10. Fill every place once occupied by darkness with Your light, Your peace, Your Holy Spirit, and Your Word. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. Help them to keep their mind stayed on You and on things above, to meditate on Your promises day and night, to worship You with godly music that edifies, and to walk in newness of life looking always ahead to You and not behind. We declare freedom, healing of memories, and a renewed mind through Christ, and we thank You that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Dear friend, I empathise with you in how it is hard to look forward. Do not be afraid to change, and do not let your past shackle you, Cling to Christ Jesus with careful prayer and meditation.

Your longing to be delivered and to look ahead without looking back is a sign that the Lord is already gracious to you, for He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction that He may withdraw man from his purpose and hide pride from man.
We join you in prayer to our heavenly Father who has delivered us from the power of darkness. That power would keep you in the dark, sleeping under the fascination of sin and the sounds that once held you, but you are called to be in the Light of God, to rejoice in Jesus Christ. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification. Look then to Christ alone.
He begins life anew, for he is a new creature in Christ Jesus. All his past sin is blotted out and his future is brightening up into the full blaze of eternal glory. This is what looking to Christ means, trusting in His one great sacrifice. I looked and lived and leaped in joyful liberty as I beheld sin punished upon the great Substitute and put away forever from all those who will only trust Him. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
Therefore hear the word of the Lord to Israel at the sea, and to you in this hour, Forward, Forward, Forward. Tell them to go forward. Preach Christ to them. Forward, sinner, forward to the Cross, forward to the five wounds, forward to the bloody sweat and to the crown of thorns. You need not stand still as though you were in prison. When I remember how some seem never to comprehend the resurrection life, nor what it is to be raised up together to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, I marvel that you thus stand back. In the name of God I give you this motto, Forward, Forward.
Put you on the Lord Jesus Christ. Off goes the filthy raiment at the sight of the glorious spotless righteousness which is freely presented to every needy sinner in Christ Jesus. When the King comes in to see His guests and He sees Jesus Christ covering them all, He will be well pleased. Fill your mind and your mouth with what is pure and lovely. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, let true worship and the songs of Zion take the place of those former sounds, and seek the fellowship of the faithful who can bear you up in prayer.

Plant footsteps in the sea and ride upon the storm for Your child, and keep him looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of faith. Cause the bitterness of death to be past and turn even this affliction into a sweet testimony of Your wonders in the deep. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
