We hear your heart's cry and we join with you in seeking deliverance and peace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for coming to the Father through Jesus Christ for it is only through Him that we have access to God and victory over the enemy.
We understand how a song with its sounds and words and title can lodge itself in the mind and torment the soul, and we know the enemy seeks to use such things to harass and defile our thoughts. But we have been given authority in Christ and a way to be cleansed and renewed. God calls us to take every thought captive and to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
We are reminded of what Scripture says, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. And also, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. We also take comfort that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that when we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
So together we bring this before the Father and we rebuke any demonic influence or oppression that has come through this song and its memories. We do not agree with the enemy's harassment and we claim the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus over your mind and memory.

Your prayer for cleansing and deliverance has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy in Christ Jesus.
You feel the torment of a sound and words that cling to the memory and will not let you go. Know this, that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You cannot by your own will wash the mind clean, but He who said, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom, is able to keep back your soul from the pit and to save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has found it in His own Son who bore the penalty for His people.
The Lord sits as a Refiner by the furnace. Troubles and vexing thoughts do not spring out of the dust, but He permits them and He can overrule them for your good, that you may be chastened and yet not given over unto death. How precious also are His thoughts toward you, O believer, how great is the sum of them. When the enemy would fill your mind with a vain song, pray that the Lord would fill it with His own precious thoughts, for David said, When I awake, I am still with Thee. There is no place where you can flee from His presence, and there is no place where His grace cannot reach you to cleanse and renew you.
