We join with you in this cry for deliverance and we bring your request before the Father together in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and victory over every evil influence. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and delivered, as Acts 4:12 declares.
We understand how music, with its sounds, words and titles, can lodge deeply in the mind and stir up lust and other evil thoughts, and we know the enemy seeks to use these memories to torment and tempt. God calls us to guard our hearts and minds diligently. As it is written in Philippians 4:8, we are to think on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. And in Psalm 101:3 we are exhorted to set no vile thing before our eyes. When we have allowed ungodly music to enter, we must turn from it completely.
We also hear your discernment in calling this demonic and rooted in lust. Lust is not a small matter before God, and we are commanded to flee from sexual immorality and every form of impurity, for as 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. God desires to cleanse us and give us a pure heart, as Psalm 51:10 prays, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.
We rebuke every demonic influence and every assignment of the enemy that seeks to hold your mind captive through these songs and memories. Scripture assures us in James 4:7 to submit therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you, and in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We claim that promise over you, that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world as 1 John 4:4 declares.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask You to deliver him completely from all demonic memories connected to this music, from every sound, every word, every title, and from all lust and every evil that has clung to his mind through another song. Wash him clean by the blood of Jesus and forgive every sin as You promise in 1 John 1:9. Renew his mind according to Romans 12:2 so that he may be transformed and no longer conformed to this world. Father, break every chain and let every lingering melody and lyric be cast out and replaced by Your peace. Fill his heart and mind with Your Word and with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs as Ephesians 5:19 teaches, making melody in his heart to You. Grant him strength to remove and delete every ungodly song from his devices and to turn away from anything that causes him to stumble, and give him the power of Your Holy Spirit to resist temptation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says. We declare freedom and a sound mind over him in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to walk in this deliverance daily by submitting fully to God, hiding His Word in your heart as Psalm 119:11 says, so that you might not sin against Him, and by choosing worship music that honors Christ to fill the space where the old music once was. If the memories return, do not entertain them but immediately take that thought captive to Christ in prayer and speak the name of Jesus aloud. Seek fellowship with other believers who can hold you accountable and pray with you, and keep your eyes and ears guarded. God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with Him make a way of escape as 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises. Trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and we join with you in prayer to the God who alone can save from the pit and from the power of darkness.
There is good hope for you, for it is written, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. No man would have thought of this way of deliverance, that the King's own Son should bear the penalty of all our iniquities, but God has thought of it and has found it. The Lord Jesus Christ has borne the punishment that was due to sin, and through Him there is undeserved deliverance for all who trust Him. God has given commandment to save, and those whom He commands to be delivered shall be saved, saved from sin and from self and from the attacks of old sins, saved from the devil and from evil company.
We rejoice that you desire to be cleansed from demonic memories and from the sounds and words and titles that have clung to your mind, and from all lust and all evil. Know this truth, that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No true liberty comes but that of which Christ makes you free, and His power alone can loosen the captive from spiritual bondage. You cannot break these chains in your own strength, but you may look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and He is able to keep back your soul from the pit.
Therefore we pray for you, that the Lord would be gracious unto you. Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, who is the ransom, that Thou wouldst deliver this soul from going down to the pit. Wash thoroughly from iniquity and cleanse from sin. Take away the haunting memories of music and sounds and words that defile the mind, and grant a clean heart and a renewed spirit. Deliver from the fascinating power of sin and from lust and every evil thing, and teach to hate the very garment spotted by the flesh. We have heard your honest cry for deliverance and we join you in prayer before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
You are right to want to be free from these memories, sounds, words and titles that stir up lust and evil. Music and words can cling to the mind and defile it, and lust itself, even when it seems like a lesser sin, opens the door to uncleanness, covetousness and filthy talk. What enters through the eyes and ears can make the mouth and the heart like an unclean place if we do not guard them. God does not want you to remain tormented by these things.
There is a sweeter and holier sound that God gives to cleanse and soothe the soul, the sound of His Word, of prayer and of psalms that lift the mind above this life and toward heaven. Ask the Lord not only to take away what is evil but to fill you with what is good.
We pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this soul who seeks You. Deliver from every demonic memory, from every sound and word and title that has taken root, and from all lust and evil. Wash the mind and heart clean through the blood of Christ. Grant the Spirit of adoption so that instead of bondage there may be sonship and peace.
