We join you in prayer before our heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. We hear your simple and sincere request to have the title of a song removed from your mind and heart, and even though we do not know which song it is, our Father knows fully what is weighing on you.
We understand how a song or its title can linger in our thoughts and become a distraction or even a burden. The Scriptures encourage us to be mindful of what we allow to dwell in our minds. Philippians 4:8 says, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. And 2 Corinthians 10:5 reminds us that we are to be throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We are also called to set our minds on things above, not on the things that are on the earth, Colossians 3:2.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the title that is troubling this heart and mind, even when it has not been spoken in detail to us. We ask in Jesus' name that You would gently remove it and grant peace and quietness of mind. Cleanse the meditation of this heart so that it may be acceptable in Your sight, for You are our rock and our redeemer, Psalm 19:14. Fill this mind with Your perfect peace as trust is placed in You, for You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you, Isaiah 26:3. Replace what is unwanted with what honors You, with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in the heart to the Lord, Ephesians 5:19, and help Your child to set their mind on things above. Let the words of the mouth and the thoughts of the heart be renewed and guarded by Your Spirit. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every thought to the Lord as soon as it arises, and to intentionally fill your mind and your mouth with worship that glorifies God. When the title comes to mind again, turn it into a moment of prayer or sing a hymn or spiritual song unto the Lord, for Colossians 3:16 says, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. In this way the Lord will renew your mind day by day, Romans 12:2, and what once was a distraction can become a reminder to praise Him. We are trusting with you that the Lord who hears even the briefest prayer will answer with His peace and will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. We heard your simple prayer asking God to take away that song title, and we want you to know we are praying with you. God hears even the briefest cry when it is offered in Jesus' name.
We understand how distracting it can be when a phrase or tune keeps coming back when you do not want it. It can make it hard to focus or to feel at peace, and it makes sense you would ask the Lord to lift it from your mind.
One thing that has helped others when something unwanted stays on their mind is to gently give their attention something else to rest on. When the title comes up, you might quietly pray a short prayer in your own words, or turn on music or reading that encourages you, and let that fill the space. Over time, with patient practice, the old phrase often fades as new patterns take hold. The mind is often troubled by thoughts that return unbidden, like flies that will not be driven away, and the Lord who searches the heart hears even the groaning of a desire that can hardly be put into words. You ask that a title of a song might be taken from you, and we understand how even a small thing can cling to the memory and spot the soul if it draws the thoughts away from Christ.
The Scripture tells us that His thoughts are not our thoughts, for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are His thoughts higher than ours, and His thoughts toward His people are constant, kind, wise and gracious, even thoughts of love from everlasting. How precious also are His thoughts unto us, and how great is the sum of them. When we awake we would be still with Him, and that nearness comes as our thoughts are conformed to His thoughts by faith.
There is therefore a necessity of renewal, for nothing that God has made is self existent and the soul must be renewed by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. To be kept unspotted from the world we must beware of the vanities and pleasures of the world, the thoughts and tendencies of the world, and even the common literature and songs that are all around us, lest they leave a stain upon the mind. Vain thoughts are to be hated, but His law is to be loved, and the fruit of believing and thankful thoughts is peace within, and longing thoughts after Christ bring summer to the soul even in winter.

Renew the mind by Thy Holy Spirit, and fill it with Thy precious thoughts, with psalms and with longing after Christ, that being kept pure and unspotted, the soul may delight itself in Thy sacred comforts. Grant grace to keep low thoughts of self and high thoughts of Christ, and to walk in fellowship with Thee. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
