We join with you in this beautiful and selfless prayer for the salvation of the one you have lifted up and for all the people in his life, and we thank God for the burden He has placed on your heart to intercede for them.
It is the heart of our Father that none should be lost, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We rejoice that you have prayed in the only name by which salvation comes, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.
We pray together now for him and for each soul connected to him.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this dear man to You and every person in his family, among his friends and those You have placed in his path. Lord, You know each heart and You see who is still in need of Your saving grace. We ask that You draw each one to Yourself, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive the gospel. Grant them repentance and faith to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, for You have promised that if we do so we will be saved, Romans 10:9. We pray that they would know how deeply You love them, for God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16. Surround them with faithful witnesses, Your Word, and Your Holy Spirit that convicts of sin and leads to truth. Save them, Lord, for Your glory and for their eternal joy.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and, as the Lord gives opportunity, to share the good news of Jesus with gentleness and love. God hears the prayers of His people and He is faithful to work even when we cannot see the fruit yet. Keep entrusting this man and his loved ones into the hands of our merciful Savior, trusting that God will complete the work He has begun.

Your prayer is a sweet and Christlike work, and the Lord delights to hear such intercession for the souls of others. Intercessory prayer is among the sweetest prayers God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character, and when our hearts are enlarged for the people of the living God we ourselves receive a blessing.
We join our heart with yours and bring this man and those who are dear to him before the throne of grace. That the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost is our hope, and salvation is ours only through His atoning sacrifice. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but Jesus Christ the Lord, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son that Thou wouldst look in mercy upon this one of whom Thy child has made supplication. If he has not yet believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, grant him repentance and faith, that he may turn from sin and trust wholly in the finished work of Christ upon the cross for the forgiveness of his sins. Save also, we beseech Thee, the people in his life, his family and friends, as many as are yet without Christ, that they also may be brought from darkness to light and from the power of sin unto God. Draw them by Thy Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need, and lead them to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Your prayer for this person and for the people in his life is good and right before God, and we join you in it.
We ask the Father to have mercy and to bring salvation to him and to each one around him who does not yet know Christ. The Scripture teaches that salvation is in Christ Jesus alone, with eternal glory, and that there is no other name by which we are saved. To gain the whole world and lose the soul profits nothing, but to come to God through Christ is to receive true life.
Take comfort that Jesus Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God by Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for them. He is not like the priests who die and can help no longer. He lives forever and His power to save does not fail. For this reason we can pray with confidence for those who are still far off, trusting that if they turn to Him in repentance and faith, He will receive them and save them completely.
So we pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your mercy on this man and on all those in his life. If any of them are in need of salvation, draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to see their need, grant them repentance and faith to come to God through Christ, and save them to the uttermost. Your prayer for this man and for the people in his life is beautiful because it shows a heart of compassion for the lost, and that compassion is the very foundation of true intercession. To bring the needs of others before God, to stand in the gap for those who may not yet know Him, is one of the greatest ministries anyone can have. More is accomplished through prayer than the world will ever see, for it is the quiet power behind all that God does.
Prayer begins with relationship. Because you have come to the Father through Jesus Christ, His ear is open to your cry. And the purpose of prayer is not to try to make God do what we want, but to come into agreement with what He already wants to do. Scripture makes it clear that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and that He is patient, waiting for the precious fruit of lives turning to Him. He does not want anyone to perish. When you pray for salvation, you are asking for what is already on His heart, and prayer opens the door for Him to do what He has long desired to do.
