We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt plea, lifting up Roger M., Mary H., and all those in their lives who may not yet know the saving power of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in their hearts, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they come to know the truth that sets them free, and may their lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel.
Father, we also lift up the one who has shared this request, asking for deliverance from demonic memories, evil spirits, and lust. We rebuke every unclean spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). We declare that these memories and influences have no power over you, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We pray for the cleansing of your mind and heart, that you may be filled with the peace and purity that comes from walking closely with the Lord. The Bible assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8).
Lord, we ask that you remove the specific memory from the last four years that has been troubling you. We trust in your promise that "as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12). We pray that you would heal any wounds and replace them with your peace and joy. May you cultivate within this dear one a spirit of respect, kindness, and sweetness, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Roger M. and Mary H., asking that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and salvation. We pray for all those connected to them, that they too may come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Lord, we stand against every demonic influence and memory that has been plaguing this dear one. We rebuke every evil spirit and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your healing touch to remove these burdens from their mind and heart. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity, peace, and joy.
Father, we ask that You would remove the troubling memory from the past four years and replace it with Your perfect peace. Transform their inner being to reflect the kindness, respect, and sweetness that comes from knowing You. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Strengthen them in their walk with You, and let them experience the fullness of life that You have promised to those who love and follow You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your power to save, deliver, and restore. May Your will be done in each of these lives, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
