We lift up ### and all those in his life to You, Lord, with hearts full of hope and faith in Your saving grace. Your Word tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). We pray that ### and those around him would come to know this love deeply, that they would recognize their need for a Savior and turn to You with repentant hearts.
Father, we ask that You draw ### to Yourself. Soften his heart to hear Your voice and respond in faith. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17), so we pray that Your Word would penetrate his soul and bring conviction, clarity, and the gift of salvation. If there are areas of his life where he is resistant or unaware of his need for You, we ask that You break through those barriers by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
For those in ###’s life who do not yet know You, we pray the same. May they encounter Your truth in ways that are undeniable, through Your Word, through the testimony of believers, or through the gentle nudging of Your Spirit. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44), so we trust in Your perfect timing and Your relentless pursuit of their souls.
We also rebuke any lies or strongholds that may be keeping ### or his loved ones from surrendering to You. The enemy seeks to blind hearts to the truth, but we declare that "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4). Yet we know that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We stand against deception and pray for the light of Christ to shine brightly in their lives.
Lord, we thank You that salvation is not earned by works but is a gift of Your grace. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). We pray that ### and those around him would receive this gift with humility and joy.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). May ### and his loved ones come to know the power of that name and the freedom it brings.
Heavenly Father, we entrust ### and those in his life into Your hands. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they experience the fullness of life that comes only through a relationship with You. We pray for their protection, their growth in faith, and their ultimate surrender to Your lordship. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
