We join our hearts with yours in lifting this man before the throne of grace, praying earnestly for his salvation. The Word of God tells us, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). It is not by our own works or righteousness that we are saved, but by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB).

We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict this man of his need for a Savior, softening his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. May he come to know Jesus not just as a historical figure, but as his personal Lord and Savior, the One who died for his sins and rose again so that he might have eternal life. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Father, we ask that You would remove any blindness or hardness of heart that may be keeping him from seeing the truth. Surround him with believers who will speak Your Word into his life and model the love of Christ. Let him experience Your presence in a way that draws him irresistibly to You. We declare that he is not beyond Your reach, no one is. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).

We also pray for boldness and wisdom for those who may have the opportunity to share the Gospel with him. Let them speak with clarity, love, and urgency, trusting that You will use their words to bring about Your purposes. "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14 WEB).

Lord, we stand in the gap for this man, believing that You are already at work in his life. We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would tell him he is too far gone or that his sins are too great to be forgiven. The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse every sin, and Your mercy is new every morning. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who came to seek and save the lost. May this man come to know the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. It’s a beautiful thing to carry someone before God, asking for His mercy and salvation. We join you now in that earnest prayer, trusting that the Father hears and that His will is to draw all people to Himself through Jesus Christ.

We know it can be hard to wait and wonder. Coming to faith is often a journey, not a single moment, and your persistent prayer is part of how God works, sometimes in ways we cannot yet see. Be encouraged that the simple, loving intercession you are offering matters deeply. If a natural opportunity arises, remember you don’t need all the answers; just being a gentle friend who shares what Jesus means to you is enough. Trust the Spirit to do what only He can, and don’t carry the weight of the outcome.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this man to You. You know his heart, his questions, and whatever stands between him and a living faith. Break through every barrier, doubt, hurt, or simple unawareness, and draw him into the light of Your love. Grant our friend here peace and patient hope, and let this man come to know the forgiveness and new life only You can give. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a blessed thing when the Lord lays a soul upon your heart, for it is He that writes intercession there. Yet know this: the salvation of that man hangs not upon your prayer alone, but upon his own coming to Christ. The Scripture saith, "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth." Have you pointed him to the Lamb of God? Intercession without testimony is but half obedience. Samuel ceased not to pray for Israel, but he also taught them the good and the right way.

And consider your own interest in this great salvation. There is a plenteous redemption, full and free, for every sinner that believeth. Christ Jesus gave His life a ransom for many, and there is not a hoof left behind. If you have not yet fled to Him, your prayer for another is but a rope of sand; first get yourself to the Rock, and then you shall be fit to draw others thither. The way is simple: believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Then shall your intercession rise with power, and the Spirit Himself maketh intercession within you.

Pray on, I charge you, but add to your praying a faithful word of entreaty to that man. Tell him that now is the accepted time, for his soul hangs in the hand of God, and there is no salvation in any other. Who knows but that the Lord may grant him repentance, and you shall rejoice together in God's salvation? Look to Jesus, and then bid that poor sinner look likewise. Not a hoof shall be left behind; full redemption shall be the song of all the ransomed.

You have prayed well to ask the Father to save a man if he is in need of salvation. Christ ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God by Him, and He is able to save them to the uttermost. His salvation does not depend on a mortal priest who dies, but on the Son who lives forever. Therefore bring this man before the throne with confidence, yet also with humility. Remember that no one is saved apart from Jesus Christ, and that salvation is not a small thing to be assumed. Pray also that the man himself would repent and believe, since the Lord saves those who draw near to Him.

And while you ask for another, do not leave your own soul unguarded. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, and lift up holy hands without wrath and doubting. If you hold anything against any person, release it before you pray, so that your intercession may be pure. God desires the salvation of many; it is His glory when those who are saved are many. So continue to ask, with faith and a clean heart.

This is a prayer God loves to hear, because it is intercession in its truest form. You have stepped beyond your own needs and brought another man before the throne of grace. Do not think of that as small. The earnest prayer of someone who belongs to Jesus Christ carries great weight, not because the person is unusually strong, but because the one who prays has been made righteous through the cross.

At the same time, there is no real uncertainty about his need. Every man is born a sinner, and no amount of goodness or religion can close the distance between a finite man and an infinite God. The only way is the way God himself opened: Jesus Christ went to the cross and drank the cup. The fact that the cup did not pass from him declares that salvation is only through him. There is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.

Keep praying with persistence. Jesus taught that holy persistence in asking is not a way to force an unwilling God but a way for your own faith to be stretched and strengthened. Prayer changes us more than it changes God. He already knows this man and already desires his salvation. Your part is to stay in the place of intercession, asking, seeking, knocking, and not losing heart.

Remember also that the purpose of prayer is not to get your will done but to accomplish God's will. So ask boldly for this man's salvation, and also ask God to make your own heart patient and submissive as you wait. The delay is often the testing of faith. Elijah was a man of like passions, just like us, yet his prayers were powerful because he prayed according to God's revealed purposes. You can do the same.

The good news is that salvation is never far from someone, no matter how deeply he has wandered. It is as near as his own mouth. If he will cry out, God be merciful to me, a sinner, he will find that God is ready. Keep praying until that cry comes. And give thanks now, because God is already at work in ways you cannot yet see.
