We join our hearts with yours in lifting up this precious soul and those connected to him before the throne of grace. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of God’s heart for the lost, and we stand with you in intercession, believing that the Lord desires all to come to repentance and know the saving power of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humility and urgency, asking that You would draw this person, and all those in his life, to Yourself. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may see their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and mercy, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
We rebuke every lie of the enemy that would keep them bound in unbelief, fear, or pride. We declare that no plan of the devil will prevail against Your purpose for their lives (Isaiah 54:17). Father, surround them with believers who will shine Your light and share the hope of Christ with them. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6).
We also pray for their salvation to be a catalyst for transformation in their family, friends, and community. May Your love ripple outward, drawing many to Yourself. Lord, if there are any strongholds of sin, whether addiction, bitterness, idolatry, or rebellion, we ask that You break them in Jesus’ name. Cleanse them by the blood of the Lamb and clothe them in Your righteousness (Revelation 7:14).
Above all, we pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). May they experience the joy of sins forgiven and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We trust You, Lord, to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your promise that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). May Your will be done in their lives, for Your glory and their eternal good.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
