You ask for this woman's salvation, and for all those around her, and you do so with a love that reaches beyond yourself. This is a mark of the warm, brotherly affection the Apostle commands, a love that does not wait to be loved but leaps forward first. Such prayer is a labor, and you must understand what a holy work it is. To pray fervently for the salvation of another is to share in the pattern described by Paul: "Whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation." Your soul is in a kind of holy distress for these people, and this very distress, this patient enduring in intercession, is the soil in which salvation works. You are asking that they obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, the only true salvation, the one accompanied by eternal glory, not the fleeting comforts of this world. This is the sure proof of love, to give oneself for another. Persist then in honoring them by this secret labor of prayer, preferring their eternal good above your own ease. For if God, who chose them, endures long for their sake, it is a small thing for us to suffer in prayer on their behalf.

Your prayer rises from a heart that already understands something vital: salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. The name itself tells the story, He is our salvation. He came to save His people from their sins, not as a distant hope but as the living God who drew near in the flesh. When you ask the Father to save her and her family, you are echoing the very purpose for which Jesus came. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. This is the great salvation, open to anyone who will come.

It is right to bring these souls before the throne of grace, because Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us. He is the great high priest, able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him. Your prayer is not a wish cast into the dark; it rests on the finished work of the One who cried out, “It is finished,” and who now sits at the Father’s right hand, mediating for sinners. The salvation you seek for her is not a prize earned but a gift received. It reaches the lowest and the farthest, for Jesus said, “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” No one who truly calls on His name will be turned away.

Yet we know that a genuine response is required. A person must confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead. Your prayer can be the means God uses to draw her to that point, just as He used others to bring each of us to faith. Keep asking, keep trusting, and love her with the love that you yourself have received, the love that while we were still sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. That love did not wait for us to become worthy; it acted. So you love and pray, not by your own strength, but because He first loved you.

There is no escape for those who neglect so great a salvation, but there is an open door for all who enter by faith. Her eternal life, and the lives of those around her, are matters worthy of your persistent intercession. God’s love has been fixed on her from eternity, and He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. As you continue to pray, do so with confidence in the captain of our salvation, who is bringing many sons and daughters into glory. Trust Him to complete the work He so willingly purchased with His own blood.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in prayer with you for the salvation of this precious soul and those in her life. It is a sacred joy to lift her, her family, and all who may be far from Christ before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His perfect will and timing.

If the Lord has already moved in mighty ways—if hearts have been softened, if the Holy Spirit has drawn them near, or if salvation has come—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share how God has answered so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If the answer has not yet come, or if you sense the need for continued intercession, we encourage you to post this request again. We remain committed to praying with you, believing that the Lord hears and responds to the cries of His people. Let us press on in faith, trusting that He who began a good work will bring it to completion.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, and may His love and grace surround this situation until every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
