He is able to save to the uttermost, which means there is no sinner too low, no heart too hard, no life too tangled that His grace cannot reach. The door is thrown wide open. He said, “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” That is the great salvation, available to anyone who will call on Him. So your request is perfectly aligned with His will. You are asking for what He delights to give.
Now is the day of salvation. Your prayer echoes the urgency of the gospel. We never know when God’s final appeal will come to a heart, so we must not pass by this moment. Keep bringing these students before the throne of grace. Let the love that fuels your intercession move you to any action you can take, a word spoken, a life lived as a witness, an invitation extended. Yet remember that our confidence never rests in our own efforts. Christ’s finished work on the cross is where God’s rest is, and we rest there too.
