We lift up ### and all those in her life to You, Lord, knowing that salvation comes only through faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). We pray that ### and those around her would come to know You personally, repent of their sins, and place their trust in Jesus alone for salvation.
Father, we ask that You would open their hearts to Your truth. Soften any hardness or resistance, and let Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). If ### or anyone in her life does not yet know You, we pray they would turn to Christ today, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We also rebuke any deception or false teaching that may be keeping them from the truth. The enemy seeks to blind minds to the light of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we stand against his schemes in Jesus’ name. We pray that ### and those around her would not be led astray by worldly philosophies or empty traditions but would hold fast to the Word of God.

May she see the hope and joy that come from walking with Christ and be drawn to it. It is a blessed thing when the Lord lays a soul upon your heart and writes intercession within you. You have done well to spread this petition before the throne, for prayer is the slender nerve that moves the muscles of omnipotence. Yet, take heed: if I desire the salvation of anyone, I ought to tell him, as best I can, what his condition is and what the way of salvation is, and how he may find rest. The Book of Remembrance will reveal the value of hidden intercessors, but the Lord uses means; He has ordained that faith cometh by hearing. Have you carried the gospel to these very ears, or has your prayer been a silent whisper in the closet and no more? Go, I beg you, and speak the word of life plainly to this dear one and to those in her company.
But suffer a moment’s searching. The Holy Spirit maketh intercession for the saints, yet His intercession is not in or for the unregenerate. Unless we are the sons of God, we are shut out from that inward groaning which cannot be uttered. Are you yourself in Christ? See to it that you have first looked unto him and been saved, for the way of salvation is so simple that we are ever tempted to pass it by. It is not by works, nor by feelings, nor by long processes; it is a look. “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” He that believeth on him, on that living Person who loved us and gave himself for us, shall never be ashamed. This salvation is without money and without price. It is God’s salvation, from first to last; he planned it in wisdom, he purchased it with blood, and he applies it by his Spirit. Oh, the love that stoops from the highest heaven, thrusts its arms into the very mire of the pit, and plucks the blackest sinner out to make him blessed forever!
Therefore, let your intercession run alongside your testimony. You cannot bring the horse to drink, but you can lead him to the water. Tell them plainly, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” Hold up the cross, cry “Ho, everyone that thirsteth,” and leave the issue with God. There is salvation for all manner of sin, forgiveness so full of grace that only God could have conceived it. May these souls, for whom you weep, soon be found saying with joy, “I will rejoice in thy salvation.” Glory be to God for such a rich, free, and eternal deliverance.

Your prayer for the salvation of this person and those in their life is a good and godly desire, and it is right to bring it before the Lord. The Apostle Paul himself said, “My heart's desire and prayer to God for them is, that they might be saved.” So do not cease from this intercession. Yet consider this: prayer is mighty when joined with our own watchfulness, but if we sleep spiritually, the prayers of others will profit us nothing. Do not think that merely asking God will accomplish all; you must also labor with them, as Paul said, “You also helping together by prayer.” Help them not only with your lips, but with your life, your tears, your gentle and earnest correction. For what is a person profited if they gain the whole world and lose their own soul? If any friendship or attachment hinders their salvation, let them cut it off. It is better to lose a companion than to lose one’s own soul. And if you truly love them, you will not flatter them in sin but call them to repentance.
Pray then that God would open the ears of their hearts, that they may hear the gospel and turn. But remember that salvation is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory, and it requires of each a personal repentance. No one can have hope of salvation in another; each must work out their own salvation with fear and trembling, relying on the lovingkindness of God. Urge them, therefore, not to delay, but to wash away their sins by repentance, tears, prayers, and works of mercy. For if we wake, we shall not need the help of others; but if we sleep, even the help of the saints will not save us. Do not say, “What need have I of prayer?” but rather humble yourself, knowing that even the greatest have need of the prayers of the Church. Yet let your prayer be joined with action: live peaceably with all, honor others above yourself, and let your love be without dissimulation, warm and glowing, that you may win them not by words alone but by a holy life.
And if this person is entangled in any bond that is contrary to God’s order, whether an unlawful union or any practice that defiles, pray that they may have the courage to sever it for the sake of the kingdom. For it is not enough to pray for salvation while clutching what leads to destruction. The mercy of God is great, but He requires a heart that turns from sin. So continue in your prayer, but also let your conduct be pure, your course of life the best, that you may be a light to guide them toward the salvation that is in Christ Jesus.

What a beautiful thing it is that your heart is drawn to pray for someone else’s salvation. That desire itself is evidence of the Spirit’s work, because true intercession flows from the same love that moved God to send His Son. You’re asking for the greatest gift anyone can receive, and you’re asking in the name of Jesus, the very name that means “Jehovah is salvation.” That name carries all the power and hope you’re placing before the Father.
Be encouraged: you’re not praying alone. Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, is right now at the Father’s side, interceding for those who draw near to God through Him. He is able to save completely, to the uttermost, every single person who comes to the Father by Him. And when you don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit helps your weakness, interceding with groanings that align perfectly with God’s will. So the prayer you’ve lifted is being carried by a greater Intercessor than you could ever manage on your own.
The salvation you’re asking for is open to everyone. God has already demonstrated His love: while we were still sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. He is not willing that any should perish, and Jesus promised that anyone who comes to Him will never be cast out. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and right now is the day of salvation. Keep asking, keep trusting, and don’t lose heart. The Lord is light and salvation; whom shall we fear? He hears the request of your lips, and He has not forsaken His own.
