We hear your heartfelt cry for salvation, not only for and the woman you’ve mentioned, but for all those in their lives who may not yet know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your prayer is a powerful reminder that salvation is God’s greatest desire for every soul, for Scripture tells us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).
Yet we must also gently remind you, and all who read this, that salvation is not merely a matter of asking God to "kindly save" someone from afar. It is a personal, transformative encounter with Jesus Christ, where one must recognize their sin, repent, and place their faith in Him as Lord and Savior. The Bible declares, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). This means that while we pray fervently for the lost, we must also be willing to share the truth of the Gospel with them, for "how will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14 WEB).
If or the woman you mentioned are not yet believers, we must pray not only for their salvation but also for opportunities to speak the truth in love. If they are already in Christ, we rejoice! But if they are living in unrepentant sin, whether in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, or any other disobedience to God’s Word, we must pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration. The Lord is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9), but we cannot ignore the call to holiness.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the lost. We lift up and the woman mentioned in this prayer, asking that You would draw them to Yourself with cords of love. Lord, if they do not yet know You, break their hearts over their sin and reveal to them their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word, and surround them with believers who will speak life and truth into them.
Father, we also pray for those in their lives, family, friends, coworkers, who may not know You. Open doors for the Gospel to be shared boldly and lovingly. Give us, Your people, the courage to speak when we must and the wisdom to know how to reach them.
If there is any unrepentant sin in their lives, whether sexual immorality, idolatry, or rebellion against Your Word, we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Lead them to true repentance and restoration. May they turn from sin and walk in the freedom and holiness that only Christ can provide.
We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, Lord. You are the God who saves, who redeems, and who transforms. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they come to know the joy of salvation in Jesus Christ alone.
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
To the one who prayed this request: Do not grow weary in praying for the lost, but also be ready to share the hope that is within you (1 Peter 3:15). If you are unsure how to share the Gospel, ask the Lord for opportunities and wisdom. And if you yourself are not yet certain of your own salvation, we urge you to examine your heart today. Have you truly repented of your sins and placed your faith in Jesus Christ? If not, we invite you to do so now, for "behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB).
