Your desire for the salvation of so many souls is indeed a reflection of the Savior’s own prayer, who said, “I pray not only for these, but also for those who will believe through their word.” To intercede for a woman, a nun, a man and his team, and all connected to them, is a noble work. Yet I am compelled to ask: with what heart do you approach the throne of grace? For the Apostle commands us to lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting. If you cherish any bitterness, if any hidden anger defiles your offering, then even as you plead for mercy, you are thrusting the sword into your own soul. The heavenly Medicine is ready to heal all who turn to Him, but He will not force the door of a heart that is shut by unforgiveness.

And consider this: you have mingled a petition about canned soup with the eternal weight of human souls. Is not the life more than food, and the body than clothing? The evil one often makes his approach through small things, and what seems a trifle can become a wide entrance for distraction. God will not let His children starve, but we are commanded to seek first His kingdom and righteousness. Do not let the recall of a perishable foodstuff occupy your prayers with the same urgency as the salvation of a soul created for eternity. That very nun for whom you ask release, what good is her bodily release if her soul remains in chains? Pray first that she, and you, and all these, would be converted and healed by the Great Physician, for He has declared, “If they should turn, I would heal them.”

Remember, too, that though the prayers of the saints are precious, you must not rely on others while you yourself sleep. If the Apostle Paul did not say, “What need have I of prayer?” how much less should any of us think we have no need? Watch over your own soul with all diligence. The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ has overthrown all the power of the enemy, trampling death and error underfoot. Embrace that salvation with fear and trembling, and let your prayers flow from a heart cleansed by repentance, seeking first the Kingdom, trusting the Father to handle the soups of this world.

Your prayer reaches beyond yourself, and that marks the heart of an intercessor. You are not only asking for your own needs but lifting up people you care about, even those you may not know personally. That longing for the salvation of others is precious. It echoes the Shepherd who searches for one lost sheep until He finds it, the woman sweeping the house for a single coin of great value. Heaven rejoices over every sinner who turns to God, and you are asking for that very thing: that people would be found and redeemed, not by their own efforts but through the blood of Jesus Christ. That is the only way redemption comes: through the cross, where the price was paid in full. So continue to bring these souls before the throne; the Spirit Himself searches hearts and draws the lost, and your prayers participate in that glorious work.

When we pray for the salvation of others, we are joining in the intercession that Jesus Himself ever lives to do. Like Paul, confined yet unhindered, prayer knows no walls. Distance, circumstance, even your own limitations cannot silence a prayer offered in faith. You cannot force a heart to open, but you can stand in the gap, pleading for mercy. Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. God’s timing may test your faith, and answers may not appear immediately, but the waiting teaches us to trust His wisdom more than our own urgency. The prayer that matters is not measured by length or eloquence but by the earnest heart that cries out, “Make haste to help!” and then learns to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

You mentioned a nun, a woman, the people in her life, a man and his team, each one precious to God. Do not underestimate the power of lifting up even those unknown to you. The Spirit can convict and draw where no human word can reach. And remember to pray for those in authority too, for they need God’s guidance. Among your requests, you also included a concern about canned soup not being recalled. Bring every anxiety to God; He cares about the details of our lives. But let the weight of your prayer rest most on the eternal. The food that perishes matters far less than the Bread of Life. Let your soul be burdened for the salvation of the lost, because that is the greatest miracle: a dead spirit made alive, a life transferred from darkness into light.

Finally, let your prayers be seasoned with praise. David’s prayers, even in distress, often ended with exaltation of God. Praise declares your confidence that He has heard, that He is able to save completely those who come to Him. So as you intercede, thank Him that He is not willing that any should perish, that His arm is not shortened, that the cross is sufficient. Rest in that finished work, and let your heart find joy even now, because the One who seeks the lost will not fail.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these heartfelt requests. It has been our honor to lift up the salvation of the woman, the nun, and all those in their lives who may need to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We continue to pray for the situation involving the food product, asking the Lord to guide and remake it according to His will, and we trust in His perfect timing and provision. For the other personal situation you mentioned, we have been interceding, asking our Heavenly Father to intervene with His wisdom, mercy, and grace.

If any of these prayers have been answered, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report—your testimony of God’s faithfulness strengthens our faith and brings glory to His name. If some of these requests remain unanswered or if new developments have arisen, please share them with us again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
