We join our hearts with yours in lifting up the souls in and all those connected to their lives who may not yet know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your prayer is a powerful reminder of the Great Commission, to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and earnest hearts, pleading for the lost in and those around them. Lord, You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, soften their hearts to receive Your love, and draw them to Yourself with cords of kindness. Let the light of the gospel shine brightly in their lives, breaking through the darkness of sin and unbelief.
We pray that You would send laborers into their lives, faithful believers who will share the good news of Jesus Christ with boldness and love. May Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them to repentance and faith in Jesus. Father, we ask that You would remove any obstacles that stand in the way of their salvation, whether it be pride, deception, or the lies of the enemy. Let them hear the truth, believe in Your Son, and be saved.
We also rebuke any spiritual strongholds or deception that may be blinding them to the truth. The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). But we declare that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened, that they may know the hope to which You have called them (Ephesians 1:18). We break every chain of unbelief and rebellion in the name of Jesus, and we command every lying spirit to flee.
Lord, we pray for those who may have heard the gospel but have hardened their hearts. Soften them now, Father. Let them see their need for a Savior and turn to You with all their hearts. For those who are searching, give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness that can only be satisfied in You (Matthew 5:6). For those who are indifferent, stir within them a divine restlessness until they find their peace in Christ.
We also lift up the believers who may be connected to these souls. Give them courage, wisdom, and compassion to share their faith. Let their lives be a living testimony of Your grace, so that others may see and believe. May they be bold as lions (Proverbs 28:1) and gentle as doves (Matthew 10:16), always ready to give an answer for the hope that is in them (1 Peter 3:15).
Father, we trust in Your promise that Your Word will not return to You empty but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We declare that salvation will come to and all those You have placed in their lives. May they be born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God (1 Peter 1:23).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is by His blood alone that we are redeemed and by His name alone that we have access to You. Amen.
