We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up these concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. It is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that this prayer was offered in Jesus' name, for without Him, our prayers would not reach the Father.
Father God, we stand in the gap for this dear one who has come before You, asking for Your divine protection. We rebuke every spiritual attack and every demonic force that seeks to harm or oppress them. Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist every evil influence in the name of Jesus and command every demonic spirit to flee. We pray for a hedge of protection around this individual, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
Lord, we also pray for deliverance from any demonic memories, sounds, or influences that have taken root in their mind. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing." We ask that You erase these memories permanently and replace them with the peace and truth of Your Holy Spirit. We declare freedom over this individual, for it is written in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."
We lift up the request for the government and those in authority, praying that You would grant wisdom and discernment to those who make decisions about immigration and entry into the United States. We ask that You soften hearts toward what is just and compassionate, as it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We also pray for the salvation of those in government and in the lives of all people who do not yet know You. Open their eyes to the truth of Your gospel, Lord, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Regarding the request to remove a person from memory, we acknowledge that You are the God who heals and restores. We ask that You bring complete healing to any emotional or spiritual wounds associated with this individual. Help this dear one to forgive, as You have commanded in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that You would fill their heart with Your peace and remove any lingering influence this person may have had.
Father, we also lift up the need for employment. Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You open doors of opportunity and provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them favor with employers and grant them wisdom and diligence in their work.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in every area of this request, and may Your name be glorified. We declare victory over every spiritual battle, for it is written in 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the freedom and deliverance that is found in You. Amen.
