We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, we acknowledge that salvation and forgiveness come solely through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, we encourage you to repent and turn to Jesus, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The Word of God tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand firm in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Father, we lift up this dear child to You, asking for Your healing hand to rest upon her. We pray for complete restoration of her health, that she may leave the hospital and return home in Your perfect timing. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Strengthen her body, Lord, and give wisdom to the medical professionals caring for her.
We also bring before You the need for employment. Father, You know the desires of this heart, and we ask that You open the right doors for this job opportunity. Provide work that not only meets financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose and brings glory to Your name. As Your Word says, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We declare that You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your provision.
Lord, we pray for patience and peace as this situation unfolds. Help this family to wait on You, knowing that "those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.
We also take a moment to address the importance of walking in holiness and obedience to Your Word. If there are any areas of life that are not aligned with Your will, we pray for conviction and repentance. Help us all to live lives that honor You, for "as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior" (1 Peter 1:15).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask for Your peace to guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
