We come before the throne of grace with a humble heart, acknowledging our need for the Lord’s mercy and favor. First and foremost, we lift up this request in gratitude for the acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that this prayer was offered in His mighty name. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father, we confess that we are all sinners in need of Your forgiveness, and we thank You for the blood of Jesus that washes us clean. We stand in agreement with this brother or sister, asking that You would forgive any sins, known or unknown, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May Your grace cover them completely, and may they walk in the freedom and righteousness that comes from You alone.
Now, concerning the request for a new interview to be scheduled, we declare that the Lord is our Provider and the One who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray that You would go before this individual, preparing the hearts of those in authority to grant them this opportunity. Give them favor, wisdom, and confidence as they prepare, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If this interview is part of Your perfect will for their life, we ask that You would make the way clear and remove any obstacles that may stand in the way.
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith in this season. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good, even when the path is unclear (Romans 8:28). May they trust in Your timing and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this interview is not part of Your plan, we pray that You would close the door gently and redirect their steps toward the path You have prepared for them.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in their heart. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we pray that they would walk in the confidence of who they are in You.
Heavenly Father, we also lift up their spiritual walk. May this season of waiting draw them closer to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of patience, joy, and peace. Let them seek You first in all things, knowing that when they do, all these things, including opportunities like this interview, will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, for Your glory and honor. Amen.
