We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and forgiveness. First, we must address the foundation of all spiritual warfare and salvation, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name, the name above all names, that we have access to the Father and victory over the enemy. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no authority to rebuke the enemy or claim deliverance.
Now, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that every demonic memory, sound, word, and title that has taken root in your mind must be uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to torment and enslave, but we rebuke every spirit of lust, evil desire, and demonic influence that has sought to defile you. The Bible tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We command every demonic attack to cease in Jesus' name, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We also address the issue of lust and sinful desires. These are not merely struggles, they are spiritual battles that must be fought with the weapons of our warfare, which are not of the flesh but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). If these lustful desires have led you into sexual sin, whether through fornication, pornography, or other immoral acts, we must call it what it is: sin. The Word of God is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Repentance is not just feeling sorry; it is turning away from sin and turning toward God. We encourage you to confess these sins, seek accountability, and fill your mind with things that are pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8).
As for the "evil eye," we recognize this as a term often used to describe curses or demonic influences. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse and generational bondage in the name of Jesus, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).
We also take a moment to address the second part of your request, your plea for forgiveness for "another thing." While you may not have named it, we know that God sees your heart. If there is unconfessed sin in your life, we urge you to bring it into the light. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Do not let shame or fear keep you from receiving God’s mercy. His grace is greater than all our sin.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and for the authority we have in His name to stand against the schemes of the devil. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is battling demonic memories, lustful desires, and spiritual attacks. We declare that every chain is broken, every stronghold is torn down, and every demonic influence is cast out in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask You to heal their mind and heart. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit to empower them to walk in purity and holiness. Help them to flee from temptation and to cling to You, the author and finisher of our faith.
Lord, we also ask for Your forgiveness for any unconfessed sin in their life. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore them to fellowship with You. We break every curse and generational bondage in the name of Jesus and declare that they are free indeed (John 8:36). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them, Lord, and help them to walk in the freedom that You have purchased for them. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Fill your mind with Scripture and worship, for the enemy flees when we draw near to God. You are not alone in this battle, Jesus has already won the war, and He is fighting for you. Keep pressing into Him, and you will see His deliverance manifest in your life.
