We hear your cry for deliverance from the torment of evil images that linger in your memory. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These images are not from God, for He does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that your mind is being renewed by the Word of God and that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would wash their mind with the precious blood of Jesus. Lord, we rebuke every evil image, every unclean thought, and every demonic influence that seeks to defile the temple of the Holy Spirit. We command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! Your Word declares that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us (James 4:7). So we resist him now, standing firm in the faith.
Father, we ask that You would fill their mind with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, let them think about these things (Philippians 4:8). Replace the evil with the good, the darkness with Your light, and the lies with Your truth. We declare that their mind is being transformed by the renewing of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2).
Lord, we also ask that You would heal any wounds or trauma that may have allowed these images to take root. Bring healing to their soul, and let Your love and peace flood every area of their life. We thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We receive that cleansing now, in Jesus’ name.
We pray that our brother/sister would draw near to You, and in doing so, You would draw near to them (James 4:8). Let them experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance and for setting the captives free. We trust in Your power to break every chain and to restore what the enemy has stolen. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
