We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up every concern to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we pray for all drivers on the roads and highways, asking for Your divine protection to surround them. Lord, guard their minds from distraction, their hands from error, and their hearts from impatience. Let Your angels encamp around every vehicle, shielding them from harm and guiding them safely to their destinations. We declare Psalm 121:7-8 over them: "The Lord will protect you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore."
Father, we also pray for the winds to cease wherever they may be causing danger or distress. You are the God who commands the winds and the waves, and we ask that You still every storm that threatens safety or peace. We trust in Your power, as You demonstrated when You calmed the storm for Your disciples, saying, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39).
For the request regarding a new job, we stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Lord, open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and lead to a workplace where Your presence and purpose will be evident. Provide not just any job, but the right job, one that honors You, utilizes gifts, and meets needs according to Your riches in glory.
We notice the mention of a specific situation involving a contact person, a landlord, and three others. While the details are unclear, we pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved. If any are making decisions that could lead to unrighteousness or harm, we ask that You intervene with conviction and clarity. Father, we rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or injustice that may be at work, and we declare that Your truth will prevail. If any of these individuals do not know You as Lord and Savior, we pray for their salvation. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your love, and draw them to repentance. We remember Your words in 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
We also lift up the people in their lives who may need salvation. Lord, we ask that You send laborers into their harvest fields, believers who will share the gospel with boldness and love. Let the light of Christ shine brightly in their darkness, and may they come to know the freedom and forgiveness found only in Jesus. We pray this because there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is not found in good works, religion, or human effort, but in surrendering to Jesus Christ as Lord and believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins.
Father, we ask that You would move mightily in every area of this request. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is fear, bring faith. Where there is bondage, bring deliverance. And where there is lostness, bring salvation. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
