We come before the Lord with this earnest request, lifting it up in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. The desire to be cleansed from any knowledge or influence of horoscopes and zodiac signs is a step toward aligning one’s heart and mind with God’s truth. Scripture is clear that we are not to seek guidance or wisdom from the stars, the heavens, or any created thing, but from the Lord alone. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns us, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Horoscopes and zodiac signs fall under these forbidden practices, as they seek to assign meaning and destiny to the created order rather than to the Creator Himself.
We rebuke the deception that horoscopes and astrology can offer anything of true value or insight. These practices are rooted in idolatry, as they elevate the creation above the Creator (Romans 1:25). The Lord alone holds our future, and His plans for us are good, not to harm us, but to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We must fix our eyes on Him and His Word, not on the empty promises of the world. The apostle Paul urges us in Colossians 2:8, *"Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ."* Let us stand firm in the truth that Christ is our only source of wisdom, direction, and purpose.
We pray now, in the mighty name of Jesus, that every trace of horoscopes and zodiac signs be removed from memory and thought. Father God, we ask that You would purify the mind and heart of Your child, erasing any lingering fascination or belief in these deceptive practices. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). Replace every lie with the truth of Your Word, and let their faith grow stronger as they trust in You alone for guidance. We declare that their mind is being renewed day by day, transformed by the washing of the water of Your Word (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 5:26).
Lord, we also pray for protection over their heart and mind. Guard them from the enemy’s attempts to draw them back into these or any other forms of divination or idolatry. Surround them with godly influences—believers who will encourage them in their walk with You and hold them accountable. Help them to seek You first in all things, knowing that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find their identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone, not in the empty predictions of astrology.
We stand on the promise of 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness and cleansing. We declare that this child of God is walking in freedom, no longer bound by the chains of deception. Strengthen them to resist any temptation to return to these practices, and fill them with a hunger for Your Word and a desire to know You more deeply.
In Jesus’ name, we command every spirit of divination, deception, and idolatry to flee. We break every agreement made with these practices, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and we cancel every assignment of the enemy against this life. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). May they walk in the fullness of the freedom and truth that is found only in You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. May this child of God continue to grow in wisdom, discernment, and intimacy with You, trusting in Your perfect plan for their life. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
