We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the Great Deliverer, the One who breaks every chain and sets the captives free. We stand on Your promise in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lord, we rebuke every demonic spirit and every demonization that seeks to torment and harass. We declare that Jesus Christ has already disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We command every spirit of torment, sickness, and ungodly memory to flee in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of bondage, declaring that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for complete deliverance and healing. Erase every ungodly memory and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding, which guards the hearts and minds of Your children in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You fill every void with Your Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, strength, and a renewed mind. We declare that this child of God is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also lift up any areas where sin may have opened the door to these attacks. If there has been involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, bitterness, or any unrepentant sin, we pray for conviction and repentance. Your Word tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We encourage this dear one to draw near to You, God, and You will draw near to them.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that no evil shall befall, nor any plague come near the dwelling of this Your child (Psalm 91:10). We stand firm on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, equipping them with the armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Lord, we ask that You surround this precious one with godly counsel and fellowship. Let them be encouraged by the body of Christ, finding strength and support in their brothers and sisters in the faith. Remind them that they are not alone, for You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen.
