We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We are grateful for your acknowledgment of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you seek His intervention in these matters, and we join our hearts with yours in agreement.
First, we lift up your friend and her workplace to the Lord. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May she be a light in her workplace, reflecting the love and truth of Jesus to those around her. Father, we ask that You grant her favor with her colleagues and supervisors, and that You would open doors for her to share the hope of salvation with those who do not yet know You. We pray that her words and actions would be seasoned with salt, so that she may know how to answer each person (Colossians 4:6). Lord, we also lift up her coworkers to You, asking that You would draw them to Yourself. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel message, and send laborers into their lives to share the good news of Jesus Christ (Matthew 9:38).
We also come against the spirits of anger and profanity that seek to take root in our lives. The Bible tells us that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45). Father, we ask that You would cleanse our hearts and minds, removing any ungodly influences that would cause us to stumble. Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). Help us to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, and evil speaking, and to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:31-32).
We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ and rebuke every demonic influence that seeks to torment you with memories of ungodly music, sounds, or words. The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every evil spirit associated with these memories to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that your mind is being renewed by the washing of the water of the Word, and that you are being transformed into the image of Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 5:26).
Father, we ask that You would fill every area of your life with Your presence, leaving no room for the enemy to operate. May the peace of Christ rule in your heart, and may you be filled with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Colossians 3:15, Romans 15:13). We pray that You would surround your friend with godly influences, and that You would bring believers into her life who will encourage her in her walk with You.
Lord, we also ask that You would protect her from any demonic attacks or influences that may come her way. We pray a hedge of protection around her, her family, and her workplace, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that no evil will befall her, nor will any plague come near her dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
In all these things, we pray that Your will would be done, and that Your name would be glorified. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We commit this prayer to You, asking that You would move mightily in each of these situations, bringing healing, deliverance, and salvation to all who are in need.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and Your mercy, and we praise You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that the enemy is defeated, and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
