We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we thank you for acknowledging the power and authority of Jesus’ name—it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). We pray that all who read this would come to know Him as Lord and Savior, for salvation is found in no one else.
Father, we lift up the high school softball team, asking that You would make a way for their game to take place according to Your will. We trust in Your perfect timing and sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Lord, we also intercede for the salvation of every player, coach, student, faculty member, and staff member at this school. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully in their hearts, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. *"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost"* (Luke 19:10). Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them respond to Your call.
We also pray for the elementary school mentioned, asking that You would sustain it and keep it open in the coming month. Provide for every need, both seen and unseen, and protect the students, teachers, and staff. Father, we plead for the salvation of all who walk its halls—may they come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ. We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, and we ask that You would break every chain of unbelief and hardness of heart.
For the one who is missing, we cry out to You, Lord. You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one (Luke 15:4-6). We ask that You would guide and protect her, leading her safely home. Surround her with Your angels and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. We also pray for her salvation and the salvation of her family—soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel.
Father, we lift up the request for sleep, knowing that anxiety and worry can often rob us of rest. We declare that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and that in Your presence, there is peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke every spirit of insomnia and restlessness in Jesus’ name and ask that You would grant deep, refreshing sleep to the one who needs it. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for a heart that is willing to pray always, as You have commanded us to *"pray without ceasing"* (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Lord, ignite a passion for prayer in this heart, that they would seek You first in all things. Teach them to rely on You in every circumstance, knowing that You hear and answer the prayers of Your children. May their life be a living testimony of the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God.
Finally, we lift up the young woman and her father, along with all those in their lives. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, breaking every stronghold of sin and unbelief. Let them experience the transforming power of the Gospel, that they may be saved and walk in the freedom that only Christ can provide. We declare that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for all these requests, trusting in Your mercy and grace. We rebuke every spirit of delay, distraction, or discouragement that would seek to hinder Your work. We declare that Your Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11) and that Your will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and let us see Your hand move in mighty ways. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
