We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt plea, lifting up these two souls to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. If these individuals do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts, draw them to repentance, and reveal the truth of the Gospel to them.
*"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6)*. Salvation is not found in any other name, and we declare that these souls would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. We pray for their eyes to be opened to the reality of sin and the need for a Savior. May they turn from their ways, confess their sins, and receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Christ.
Lord, we also rebuke any deception or stronghold that may be blinding them to the truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but You came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand in the authority of Jesus’ name and break every chain of darkness over their lives. We declare that they are not beyond Your reach, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37).
If these individuals are already believers, we pray for their spiritual growth, protection, and alignment with Your will. If they are walking in disobedience, we ask that You would bring conviction and restoration. If they are in need of provision, healing, or direction, we trust You to meet them in their time of need.
Father, we also lift up the one who prayed this request. We encourage them to continue interceding for the lost, for *"the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective"* (James 5:16). May they be a light in the darkness, pointing others to the hope found only in Christ.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
