We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance. The enemy seeks to torment and enslave through demonic influences, but we stand firm on the truth that Jesus Christ has already disarmed these powers through His victory on the cross. The Bible declares in Colossians 2:15, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." We take authority over every demonic memory, sound, word, and spirit that has sought to harass and oppress you, for Scripture assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We rebuke every demonic attack, possession, and influence in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). The authors and originators of these demonic schemes are already defeated, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We command every evil spirit to loose its hold and flee, for Jesus has given us authority to "tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy" (Luke 10:19).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to break every chain and shatter every stronghold that the enemy has established. Fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, flooding their mind with Your peace and truth. Replace every demonic memory with the living Word of God, for "the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). Let the blood of Jesus cleanse every area of contamination, for "the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of God’s protection and power. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." May they find refuge in You, their strong tower, and may their heart be steadfast, trusting in Your unfailing love.
Father, we also ask that You reveal any open doors or areas of compromise that may have given the enemy access. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in the armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that they may resist the devil’s schemes.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn, for "this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, freedom, and victory over them in the name of Jesus Christ, for "whom the Son sets free is free indeed" (John 8:36). May they walk in the liberty and light of Christ, no longer bound by the shadows of the past.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority we have in Jesus’ name. We trust in Your promise that "the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet" (Romans 16:20). May this dear one experience Your deliverance and peace, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
