We hear your heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, and we join with you in lifting up these concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved. "For there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB). If any of these boys, men, or people in their lives do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them to repentance and faith in Christ.
Father God, we lift up these boys and men to You, asking that You would soften their hearts and fill them with Your love, kindness, and compassion. May they be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2 WEB) and walk in the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). We pray that they would treat others with the same grace and mercy that You have shown them, for Your Word teaches us to "be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).
We also stand against the works of darkness mentioned in this request. Lord, we rebuke and break the power of the evil eye, anger, negativity, and all forms of divination, including zodiac signs and horoscopes, in the name of Jesus. Your Word warns us that "there shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). We command all demonic spirits associated with music, sounds, words, titles, and any form of demonic possession or influence to flee in Jesus' name. We declare that "He has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love" (Colossians 1:13 WEB).
We pray that You would deliver and cleanse from all demonic memories and influences. Your Word assures us that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36 WEB). We ask that You would fill these lives with Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, freedom, and restoration. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, and may they be protected from all forms of deception and evil.
Father, we also pray for a spirit of prayer and vigilance. Help us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB) and to stand firm in our faith, putting on the full armor of God so that we may be able to resist the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). Strengthen us to walk in Your truth and to reject all forms of darkness.
We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. May these lives be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
