We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up this dear soul and those in her life who may not yet know the saving power of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the manner in which this prayer was presented. While the heart behind it is earnest, we must remember that our prayers are not to be filled with symbols, codes, or placeholders that obscure the clarity of our petitions. The Lord hears us when we come to Him in sincerity, with hearts laid bare before Him. Let us approach Him with reverence, calling out to Him in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this woman and those connected to her who may not yet have surrendered their lives to You. Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. We know that no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), so we ask that You would move mightily in their lives, breaking down every barrier that keeps them from knowing You.
Father, we rebuke any deception or spiritual blindness that may be keeping them from recognizing the truth of the Gospel. We declare that the god of this world has no hold over them, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that the scales would fall from their eyes, just as they did for Paul on the road to Damascus, so that they may see the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ (Acts 9:18).
Lord, we also ask that You would surround this woman and those in her life with godly influences—believers who will shine Your light and speak Your truth in love. May they encounter Your Word in a way that pierces their hearts, leading them to repentance and faith. We pray that they would not only hear the Gospel but respond to it with a surrendered heart, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Father, we know that salvation is Your work, not ours, but we ask that You would use us as vessels to share the hope we have in Christ. Give us boldness and wisdom to speak truth in love, and may our lives reflect the transformation that comes from knowing You. We pray that this woman and those in her life would come to experience the peace, joy, and eternal life that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
We also lift up any ungodly relationships or influences in their lives that may be leading them away from You. Lord, we ask that You would sever any ties that do not align with Your will, and replace them with relationships that draw them closer to You. If there is any sin—whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, or rebellion—we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Finally, Lord, we pray for protection over their hearts and minds. Guard them from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the truth and experience the abundant life You have promised to those who love You.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Amen.
