We lift this dear soul before the throne of grace, joining in this heartfelt plea for salvation. Father, we know that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray for this man and all those in his life—family, friends, and acquaintances—who may not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. Draw them near, Holy Spirit, and open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel.
Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of darkness that may be blinding them to Your love and mercy. Your Word tells us that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray for this transformation in their lives, that they would turn from sin and embrace the forgiveness and new life found only in Jesus. May they hear the call of Your Spirit and respond in faith, confessing with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
We also rebuke any deception or stronghold that may be keeping them from surrendering to You. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against every lie that tells them they are beyond Your reach or that their sins are too great to be forgiven. Your Word declares that "where sin abounded, grace abounded much more" (Romans 5:20). Let them experience the fullness of Your grace and the power of Your redemption.
Father, we ask that You would surround this man and his loved ones with believers who will shine Your light into their lives. May they encounter Your love through the words and actions of Your people, and may those testimonies point them to the cross. We pray for divine appointments, open doors, and hearts prepared to receive the Good News. Let them not be ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
We also pray for their protection, Lord. The enemy will not stand idly by as souls are rescued from his grasp. Guard their minds, their hearts, and their steps. Strengthen them with Your armor so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them know that You are with them always (Philippians 4:7, Matthew 28:20).
Above all, we pray that they would come to know You not just as Savior, but as Lord of their lives. May they surrender every area—every thought, every desire, every relationship—to Your will. Teach them to walk in obedience, to love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves (Mark 12:30-31). May their lives bear fruit that reflects the work You are doing within them.
We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord. You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, drawing them to Yourself. May they experience the joy of salvation and the freedom that comes from being Your children. We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
