We lift up this prayer with hearts full of hope and intercession, standing in the gap for those who may not yet know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. First, let us affirm that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him—believing in His death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins—that anyone can be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
We rebuke any spirit of indifference or unbelief that may be keeping this person or those in his life from surrendering to Christ. The enemy seeks to blind minds to the truth of the Gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we declare that the light of Jesus will shine brightly in their hearts. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), drawing them to repentance and faith.
Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word, and let the seeds of the Gospel take root in fertile soil (Matthew 13:23). Surround them with believers who will speak truth in love, and let Your Word not return void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). If there are strongholds of addiction, idolatry, or rebellion in their lives, we break them now in the name of Jesus and command every hindrance to be removed.
We also pray for this brother or sister who has lifted this request. May they be a bold witness, shining the light of Christ in their own life and speaking the truth with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). Give them opportunities to share the hope that is within them, and let their life be a living testimony of Your transforming power.
Lord, we trust that You are already at work in the lives of those for whom we pray. We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, and we stand on Your promise that "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). May this prayer be a catalyst for salvation, and may lives be eternally changed for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
