We come before the Lord with this heartfelt plea, lifting up this request in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Memory is a gift from God, but we understand that there are moments, experiences, or images that can weigh heavily on the heart and mind, causing distress. We stand with you, believing that our Heavenly Father is not only able to bring healing but also to cleanse and renew the mind according to His perfect will.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over your life, trusting that as you bring this concern before the Lord, His peace will guard your heart and mind.
We also hold fast to the truth found in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
