We hear your cry for deliverance and the deep concern for your father and his relatives in Africa. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your father or his relatives do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we must pray for their hearts to be opened to the truth of the Gospel.
Let us rebuke any spirit of fear, bondage, or oppression that may be afflicting you. The Bible tells us that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Whatever "thing" you are facing, we stand with you in faith, believing that God is greater than any struggle or stronghold. Jesus came to set the captives free, and we declare that freedom over you in His name (Luke 4:18).
For your father and his relatives, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them to repentance and faith in Christ. Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44). We ask that God would send laborers into their lives—missionaries, pastors, or even dreams and visions—to share the Good News with them. We pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Africa, that many would come to know Jesus as their Savior.
We also encourage you to share the Gospel with your father and his relatives if you have the opportunity. Romans 10:14 says, "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" Your testimony could be the light that leads them to Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. We ask for deliverance for our brother/sister from whatever is oppressing them. Break every chain, Lord, and set them free by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke every spirit of fear, bondage, and darkness in Jesus' name.
Father, we lift up their father and his relatives in Africa. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict them of sin and draw them to repentance. Raise up workers to share Your Word with them, and let Your love and grace transform their lives. We pray for a revival in Africa, that many would come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
Lord, we thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the freedom You have given them.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and is working on your behalf. Continue to seek Him through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. If you have not already, consider sharing the Gospel with your father and his relatives, trusting that God will use your obedience to bring them to salvation.
