We hear your cry for new employment and stand with you in seeking God’s provision. The Lord knows your needs even before you ask, and He promises to supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We lift up this situation together, trusting that God’s timing is perfect and that He will open the right door for you.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would guide and direct this dear one into the job You have prepared. Remove any fear or doubt, and replace it with faith in Your promises. Lord, we know that You have plans for welfare and not for evil, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Lead them to a workplace where Your name is honored, where they can serve You with integrity, and where their gifts and talents will be used for Your glory.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek employment. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or delay that may be hindering this process. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your Word that says, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear” (Hebrews 13:6). We pray that You would bless their efforts, open doors that no one can shut, and close doors that are not of You. May they walk in the confidence that You are their Provider and that Your grace is sufficient for every need.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Keep your heart fixed on the Lord, and do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you wait on Him. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
