We lift this precious soul before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in earnest prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, acknowledging that salvation is found in no one else but Your Son, Jesus Christ. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We ask that You draw this individual to Yourself, Lord, for You have promised, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44).
Father, we pray that the eyes of their heart may be enlightened to see the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). Let them understand that "all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), but that through faith in Jesus, they can be justified freely by Your grace (Romans 3:24). We rebuke any deception or hardness of heart that may be keeping them from receiving Your gift of eternal life. We declare that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that they would respond in repentance and faith.
Lord, if this person does not yet know You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful and personal way. Surround them with believers who will speak truth into their life, and open their ears to hear Your voice. Let them experience Your love, mercy, and forgiveness, and may they surrender their life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10).
We also pray for their protection, Father. Guard their heart and mind from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Strengthen them to resist temptation and to walk in the light of Your truth. May they be rooted and grounded in Your Word, growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
If this individual is already a believer, Lord, we ask that You would deepen their faith and draw them into a closer relationship with You. Revive their spirit, renew their mind, and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. May they walk in obedience to Your Word and bear much fruit for Your kingdom.
