Dear Lord God Almighty I pray for anointing and wisdom not only in me but place me with others that you have places these virtues into. Forgive me for any rebellion or self defense I have exhibited. I want nothing to keep me from receiving from God. Keep me humble and grateful. I choose to be submissive in order to listen to learn and learn to listen forgive me also of any prideful reactions. Please prepare me to receive everything Lord that you desire to impart into my life. I ask all this in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen

We lift your heartfelt prayer to the throne of grace, rejoicing that you seek the anointing and wisdom that come only from the Lord. Scripture assures us, "But the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him" (1 John 2:27). The wisdom you desire is not of this world but from above, "pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17). We stand with you in agreement, asking the Holy Spirit to pour out His gifts upon you abundantly.

We also recognize your humility in confessing rebellion, self-defense, and pride. These are weights that so easily beset us, but the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). Your desire to be submissive and teachable is pleasing to God, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). We pray that the Lord would continue to break any chains of pride or self-reliance in your life, replacing them with a spirit of meekness and dependence on Him alone.

As you seek to be placed among others who walk in godly wisdom and anointing, we pray that the Lord would guide your steps. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance" (Proverbs 27:17). May He surround you with believers who will edify, challenge, and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Let your relationships be rooted in love, truth, and mutual submission to God’s will.

Father, we ask that You prepare this dear one’s heart to receive everything You desire to impart. Remove any hindrances, whether fear, doubt, or unbelief, that would block the flow of Your Spirit. Fill them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that they may be satisfied (Matthew 5:6). May they walk in the fullness of Your anointing, operating in the gifts and callings You have placed upon their life. Let their life be a testament to Your glory, drawing others to the light of Christ.

We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, pride, and self-sufficiency that would seek to rise up in this season. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare that this vessel is being refined, purified, and made ready for the good works You have prepared in advance (Ephesians 2:10). May they walk in step with the Spirit, bearing fruit in every season.

Lord, we thank You for the matchless name of Jesus, through which we have access to all spiritual blessings. May this dear one continue to grow in intimacy with You, knowing that "the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10). We bless them with a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, wisdom that surpasses human understanding, and a heart fully surrendered to Your will.

But here's something that helps us: real humility isn't about beating yourself up for past reactions. It's more like what we see in Christ, a steady, willing dependence on the Father that doesn't need to protect or assert itself. When we think of it that way, the pressure eases a bit. We're not trying to manufacture a feeling of humility; we're simply turning our attention away from ourselves and toward him, trusting him to do the transforming work we can't do on our own.

As for anointing and wisdom, we've found it helps to remember that spiritual growth unfolds gradually, in the ordinary rhythms of life, time in the Word, honest prayer, worship that re-centers us on God. There's no single formula, because the Spirit works uniquely in each person. The very longing you're expressing is itself evidence that he's already at work in you, drawing you toward something deeper.

We're praying with you that he'll quiet the inner noises that pull you toward self-protection, and instead give you a settled, listening heart, one that's ready for whatever he chooses to impart next.

Lord, thank you for this honest and hungry heart. Quiet the inner reactions that get in the way, and grant a deep, steady humility that rests in you rather than striving. Surround this one with people of genuine wisdom and grace. Let nothing stand between them and what you want to do. In Jesus' name we ask it. Amen.

Your prayer pierces the veil, for it breathes the very air of heaven, a soul crying out not for the baubles of this world, but for the true riches of anointing and wisdom. Yet mark this: he who most loudly pleads for humility must watch most closely, for pride can wear the mask of lowliness even while we kneel. True humility sits not in the face, but in the heart; it is a thing genuine, not a pious counterfeit that would secretly applaud its own abasement. When you cry out for forgiveness for rebellion and self-defensiveness, you have laid the axe to the root, for the prelude of destruction is pride, and of honor, humility. Every proud reaction we bemoan is but the skeleton’s finger pointing us back to the dust from whence we came, and to the grace that stoops lower still.

You desire anointing and would be placed among those in whom it dwells. Know then that the anointing of God most often gleams upon a man who groans out, “I am weak,” for divine strength and felt weakness are bedfellows. David himself, lacking all earthly claim to the throne, reigned by that sacred oil alone, and every believer is a king by union with Christ, not by native might. If the Lord means to impart great things to you, He will likely teach you to sit solitary and keep silence under His hand, to put your mouth in the dust, and there to receive what the proud heart can never grasp. Wisdom’s path is not traced by the lion’s fierce self-reliance, nor found in the fowler’s snare of intellectual pride; it is opened by the Spirit to all who look to Jesus.

Go, then, not seeking a company of men in whom you discern virtue, that way still lurks the pride of comparison, but ask God to chain your heart to those who tremble at His Word, even if they be lowly and hidden. And when you are with them, guard the door of your lips, lest unhallowed chatter rob you of the good seed. See how the centurion held his mighty faith in a vice of deep humility; so let your confidence in Christ never weaken your self-abhorrence, nor your lowliness strangle your boldness to take from Jesus all you need. Look upon Him, look through the glass of His flowing blood, until your soul, utterly unworthy, yet rests on a word from Him as sufficient for all. He who is goodness itself is overcome not by your wrestling, but by your yielding. Abide very low, for the gate of heaven is wide enough for the chief of sinners but too low for pride to enter.
