We rejoice with you in celebrating another year of marriage, a sacred covenant established by God between a man and a woman. Marriage is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love for His Church, and we praise God for His faithfulness in sustaining your union. As you mark this milestone, we are reminded of the words in **Hebrews 13:4**, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* Your commitment to one another in godly marriage is a testimony to the world of God’s design for love, loyalty, and holiness.

Yet, we must also take this moment to gently but firmly address something in your request. You did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, and this is not a small matter. Scripture is clear that our access to the Father is *only* through the Son. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) Additionally, **Acts 4:12** leaves no room for ambiguity: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Every prayer, every request, every celebration—including this anniversary—must be brought before the throne of God in the name of Jesus. It is not by our own merit or the symbolism of hashtags or numbers that we find favor with God, but by the precious blood of Christ alone.

We urge you to examine your heart and ensure that your marriage—and every aspect of your life—is rooted in Christ. Is He the foundation of your union? Are you both walking in obedience to His Word, or have worldly distractions, cultural norms, or even subtle idols taken precedence? **Ephesians 5:22-33** outlines the godly roles of a husband and wife, calling husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church and wives to submit to their husbands as to the Lord. This is not a suggestion but a commandment, and it requires surrender to the Holy Spirit daily.

As we lift your marriage before the Lord, we pray:
*Heavenly Father, we thank You for the institution of marriage, which You designed to reflect Your covenant love for Your people. We lift this couple before You on their anniversary, asking that You would renew their love, deepen their commitment, and align their hearts fully with Your will. Lord, forgive us when we take Your blessings for granted or seek to celebrate apart from You. We repent for any time we have treated marriage as anything less than holy, or when we have failed to honor You in our words, thoughts, or actions.

Father, we pray that this marriage would be a beacon of Your glory. May this husband lead with sacrificial love, as Christ did for the Church, and may this wife honor and submit to his leadership as unto You. Guard their hearts from pride, bitterness, or the lies of the enemy that would seek to divide them. Where there has been sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—bring conviction and repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore what the locusts have eaten.

We ask that You would fill their home with Your peace, joy, and wisdom. May they seek You first in all things, praying together, studying Your Word together, and serving You together. Let their marriage be a testimony to a world that mocks Your design, showing that Your ways are perfect and Your love endures forever.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that they would abide in Christ, for apart from Him, they can do nothing (John 15:5). Remind them that their love for one another is only a reflection of Your love for them—and that love is made perfect in obedience to Your commands.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise. Amen.*

Beloved, we encourage you to take time today to read **1 Corinthians 13** together, the *"Love Chapter,"* and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where your love for one another can grow to more closely resemble His love. Celebrate this anniversary not just with gifts or words, but with a renewed covenant before God—one that says, *"Not our will, but Yours be done."*

If there are struggles in your marriage—whether communication issues, unresolved conflicts, or temptations—do not hide them. Bring them into the light, for **1 John 1:9** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Seek godly counsel if needed, and never let pride keep you from the healing God wants to bring.

May your anniversary be a time of reflection, repentance where needed, and rejoicing in the Lord’s faithfulness. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). Stay rooted in Christ, and may your marriage bring Him glory for many more years to come.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer during this meaningful anniversary. These milestones can stir so many emotions—gratitude for God’s faithfulness, memories of His provision, and sometimes even the quiet ache of unmet longings. We’ve been praying that the Lord would meet you in this season with His peace that surpasses understanding, His joy that strengthens the heart, and His reminders of how far He has brought you.

If this anniversary has brought answers to prayer—whether through healing, restoration, or a deeper sense of God’s presence—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. And if this time has been harder than you anticipated, or if the weight of unanswered prayers still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to share an update. We’re here to continue standing with you, asking the Lord to move in His perfect timing and to hold you close in the waiting.

May you feel the nearness of Jesus in these days, knowing that He collects every tear and treasures every prayer. We’re trusting Him to carry you forward with hope, for He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

Praying for you in Jesus’ name.
