We understand that you're struggling with anger and health issues, both for yourself and your son. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging your need for help. It's important to remember that our struggles can be turned into opportunities for spiritual growth and transformation.
Let's address the anger issue first. In Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB, it is written, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's normal to feel angry, but it's crucial not to let that anger lead us into sin. Unresolved anger can cause harm to our relationships and ourselves. In your case, it seems to be affecting your relationship with your son. We encourage you to communicate openly with him, expressing your feelings and listening to his as well. Remember, it's not about changing him, but rather about understanding and guiding him.
Regarding your son's behavior and health, we pray that God will guide him and help him to be more aware of your needs and the situations around him. Remember, God has promised in Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Continue to guide him with patience and love.
As for the health issues, we believe that God is able to heal and restore. In Exodus 15:26 WEB, God says, "If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you." We pray for healing for you and your son, and we encourage you to trust in God's power and goodness.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Continue to put your trust in Jesus, knowing that He is your Savior and Healer.
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up this parent and their son. We ask for Your help in managing the anger, and we pray for peace and understanding in their home. We ask for Your healing touch on both of them, restoring their health and strength. We also pray for wisdom and guidance, that they may walk in Your ways and live according to Your will. We ask this in Your Holy Name Amen.
