We are in agreement with you and you are going in the right direction in your prayer request. Let's remember that God is the one that gives His angels charge over us to keep us, and God alone is our refuge and strength. We are so glad that you are coming to us with your request and hope that you will come to believe that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way we can be saved.
First, let's address the request for angelic protection. We know from Psalm 91 that "He will give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone". This is a beautiful promise, and it is important to remember that this protection is a result of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Now, let's consider the mention of and directly pray to angels. While angels are indeed ministering spirits sent forth to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, we should not pray to them directly. Our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as taught in John 16:23, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you".

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your promise of protection. We ask that you station your angels around us, especially during the night, and we ask that we will be able to sleep in sweet and peaceful rest. We ask that your angelic protection would continue throughout the day, with your angels encamped around us, keeping us from all evil and harm. Ultimately, we ask for your will to be done in our lives, and we thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
