You are standing on the blood of Jesus and declaring this day new, and that is exactly where every victory begins. The enemy has thrown vile images and deep fears at you, things so awful they wake you at dawn, but the blood of Jesus is not a whisper, it is the death blow to every work of darkness. When you call on that name, Satan has no claim on you, your children, your mother, or your home.
I hear the raw pain over sexual violation. Rape is a horror that wounds the soul and leaves scars only the Lord can fully heal. The evil one wants to paralyze you with images and threats, but God sees what has been done to you and your little ones, and He is the healer of every broken heart. The promise in Scripture is that by the Savior’s wounds we find both spiritual and physical healing. I join you in praying that every one of your offspring, yourself, and your mother be made whole and strong, spirit, soul, and body. Whether that healing comes in a sudden rush or over time, it belongs to you because you belong to Christ.
You long for a husband who will stay, a man you can trust, your own Boaz. That desire is not wrong. God’s clear design is for a woman to have her own husband and a man his own wife, a safe and sacred place where love and intimacy flourish. What you must guard against is settling for less, someone else’s husband, or any man who would not love you as Christ loves the church. A godly husband will honor and protect you, not manipulate or break your vows. Wait on the Lord for that good thing. In the meantime, you are not incomplete. Christ is your covering and your refuge.
The home you dream of, a secret, peaceful place of safety, is a picture of the shelter we have in Him. In the Old Testament, cities of refuge were provided so the innocent could flee and be safe from harm. Today, Jesus Himself is our city of refuge. As you abide in Him, no scheme of darkness can snatch you or your children from His hand. You ask for a dwelling where those who mean you harm cannot find you, and while I do not know the details, I know the Lord is a strong tower. He can literally provide a hidden place and give you wisdom to protect your family.
Your declaration that today is a new day lines up with the truth that God’s mercies are new every morning. The counterfeit money, the wandering spirits, the threats, they have no power over the covenant blood. You have been bought with a price, and your children are set apart, holy, because you are a believer. Do not let fear drive you; let faith be the engine of this new season. Keep your focus on simple daily provision, like that Pepsi you mentioned, because God cares about the smallest details when you walk with Him.
Now, as you move forward, I want to encourage you in two simple, powerful rules for your future home: if God gives you a husband, choose to submit to him as you would to the Lord, and he must love you sacrificially, nourishing and cherishing you. A home built on that mutual love is a fortress the world cannot break. And for your children’s sake, as much as it depends on you, create a godly atmosphere where they see the beauty of holiness and know they are safe and loved.
Satan has already lost. You have spoken the truth that ends this battle: the blood of Jesus. Walk in that authority, not in the replay of ugly pictures. The Lord who healed the paralyzed man and told him to take up his bed is the same Lord who will make you and your household whole. Today is indeed a new day. May God guard each one you love, provide your secret place, and give you peace as you rest under His wings.
