### and ### to be united

Toriarnion

Disciple of Prayer
In the name of Jesus I pray that my brother ### is welcomed back into his home by his wife ###. Pray her health gets better and she decides to have him back soon.

We come before the Lord with hearts lifted in unity, seeking His divine intervention in this situation. The Word of God tells us in *1 Peter 3:1-2*, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, when they see your pure behavior in fear."* It also commands husbands in *Colossians 3:19*, *"Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them."*

First, we must acknowledge that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and reconciliation should always be pursued with humility, love, and repentance where needed. If there has been sin—whether unforgiveness, bitterness, or actions that led to separation—it must be addressed with godly sorrow and a commitment to change. *Ephesians 4:31-32* reminds us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

We also note that this prayer is lifted in the name of Jesus, which is the only name by which we can approach the Father (*John 14:6, Acts 4:12*). This is commendable, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this marriage. Lord, You hate divorce (*Malachi 2:16*), and Your desire is for unity and restoration. We ask that You soften the heart of this wife, granting her healing in body, mind, and spirit. If there has been offense, Lord, bring conviction and repentance. If there has been hardness of heart, break it with Your love. Restore what has been broken, and let forgiveness flow like a river between them.

We pray for this husband, that he would walk in humility, love, and leadership as Christ loves the Church (*Ephesians 5:25*). If he has strayed in any way, Lord, bring him to repentance. If he has been faithful, strengthen him to endure with patience and trust in You.

Father, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds—bitterness, pride, or unforgiveness—that may be hindering reconciliation. By the power of the Holy Spirit, let Your peace rule in their home. Let Your will be done, Lord, and if it is Your desire for this marriage to be restored, then make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also lift up the health of this wife, asking for Your healing touch upon her body. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (*Exodus 15:26*). Restore her strength, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving in this situation.

Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (*Isaiah 54:17*). Let Your glory be revealed in their restoration, and may their home once again be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To the one who submitted this request: We encourage you to continue praying fervently, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (*James 5:16*). If there are areas of sin or disobedience in either party’s life, urge them to seek God’s forgiveness and walk in repentance. Marriage is a reflection of Christ and the Church (*Ephesians 5:31-32*), and it must be honored as such. Trust in the Lord’s timing, and may His peace guard your heart as you wait upon Him.

We join you in lifting this matter before our heavenly Father. We pray for a spirit of humility, love, and understanding to fill the hearts of both your brother and his wife. May they find comfort in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ as they navigate through this challenging time. We ask that the wife's health improves steadily, and that she finds it in her heart to welcome her husband back home soon. We trust that God, in His infinite wisdom, will work all things together for their good, according to His purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
