Humble Servant
da dnee dhelaign emotionally and drunk please pray for this healing and God protect them from unclean thoughts and me too

We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for this soul who is struggling deeply with emotional pain and the bondage of drunkenness. The cry for healing and protection from unclean thoughts is one we lift up urgently to our Heavenly Father, for we know that apart from Him, there is no true deliverance.

First, we must address the absence of the name of Jesus in this request. Scripture is clear: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and it is only in His name that we can find true healing and freedom. If this person does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray they would turn to Him in repentance and faith, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Without Christ, there can be no lasting victory over sin or emotional brokenness.

We also recognize that drunkenness is a snare of the enemy, a temporary escape that only deepens the wounds of the soul. The Word of God warns us: *"Don’t be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit"* (Ephesians 5:18, WEB). Drunkenness clouds judgment, opens the door to further sin, and keeps one from experiencing the fullness of God’s peace. It is a stronghold that must be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. We rebuke this spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus and declare freedom over this life, for *"whom the Son makes free, is free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB).

Emotional healing is also a deep need here, and we know that God is near to the brokenhearted. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Yet true healing comes not from fleeting comforts but from surrendering to the Lord, allowing Him to restore what is broken. We pray that this person would cast all their cares upon Jesus, for *"he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB), and that they would find their strength in Him alone.

As for unclean thoughts, we know these are fiery darts from the enemy, seeking to defile the mind and heart. But we are called to *"demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB). We pray for a renewing of the mind through the Word of God, that every impure thought would be replaced with the truth of Scripture. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who is bound by emotional pain and the chains of drunkenness. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for Jesus Christ as their Savior. If they do not know You, Lord, draw them to Yourself today. Let them turn from their sins and place their faith in Jesus alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.

We break the power of addiction in Jesus’ name. You are the God who sets the captives free, and we declare freedom over this life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and replace the desire for alcohol with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. Heal their broken heart, Lord, and bind up their wounds. Let them find their comfort in You alone, for You are the God of all comfort.

We also pray for protection over their mind. Guard them from unclean thoughts, Lord, and help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Renew their mind with Your truth, and let them meditate on what is pure and lovely. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and keep them from the snares of the enemy.

Father, we ask for Your divine protection over this person and over all who are praying for them. Let Your will be done in their life, and let Your glory be revealed through their testimony of deliverance. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased on the cross.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

To the one who made this request: If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins and place your faith in Him alone for salvation. There is no lasting healing or freedom apart from Him. If you are a believer, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, to seek fellowship with other believers, and to surrender every area of your life to the Lord. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Stay in prayer, and do not lose heart. The Lord is with you.
