We come before the Father with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this marriage and family in fervent prayer. The enemy has sought to divide what God has joined together, but we know that with God, all things are possible. You have spoken of hearts led astray, stubbornness, and unbelief—these are not small struggles, but they are not beyond the reach of our Lord’s redeeming power. Scripture reminds us in **Mark 10:9**, *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."* Yet we also acknowledge that sin and hardness of heart can bring division, as Jesus Himself taught in **Matthew 19:8**, *"Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so."*
First, we must address the spiritual condition of this home. The "spirit of unbelief" you mention is a grave concern, for **Hebrews 3:12** warns, *"Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God."* Unbelief opens the door to the enemy’s schemes, and we see its fruit in broken fellowship with God and one another. We urge you both to repent—turning away from the distractions and idols that have drawn your hearts from the Lord and from each other. **2 Chronicles 7:14** calls us to *"humble ourselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways,"* and He promises to hear, forgive, and heal.
We also grieve the separation in your home, for a house divided cannot stand (**Mark 3:25**). The absence of a father from the home is a deep wound, not only to the marriage but to the children, who need the stability and godly example of both parents. **Ephesians 6:4** charges fathers, *"Do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."* Even in this season of brokenness, we pray you will seek ways to be present, to lead spiritually, and to demonstrate Christ’s love to your children. They are watching, and their hearts are being shaped by what they see.
As for reconciliation, we pray earnestly for it, for God hates divorce (**Malachi 2:16**). Yet reconciliation must begin with repentance—both toward God and one another. **James 4:7-10** commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you."* This is the path forward: humility, brokenness, and a turning back to the Lord.
We also lift up your soon-to-be ex-wife, praying that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and draw her back to the Father. May she encounter the love of Christ in a way that shatters her stubbornness and renews her faith. **Ezekiel 36:26** promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* This is our prayer for her—for a heart softened by God’s grace, a spirit willing to surrender, and a return to the covenant of marriage if it is His will.
For the children, we claim **Proverbs 22:6**, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Even in this storm, we pray that both of you will unite in raising them in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Let them see parents who, though broken, still point them to Jesus. Teach them to pray, to read Scripture, and to trust in God’s faithfulness, even when life is hard.
Finally, we must address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (**John 14:6**), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace (**Hebrews 4:16**). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and Savior. **Romans 10:9** declares, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the foundation of all spiritual victory, and without it, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the brokenness, the stubbornness, and the unbelief that have taken root. We ask for Your mercy and intervention. Soften the hearts of this husband and wife, Lord. Break the spirit of unbelief and draw them back to Yourself. Convict them of sin, lead them to repentance, and restore their first love for You and for one another.
Father, we bind the enemy’s work in this home. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). If it is Your will, Lord, reconcile this husband and wife. Heal the wounds, restore the trust, and renew their covenant before You. But even if reconciliation does not come, we pray for unity in parenting, that these children would be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Lord, we ask for a supernatural outpouring of Your Spirit upon this family. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). Give them wisdom, strength, and a willingness to forgive as You have forgiven them.
We pray specifically for the wife, that she would encounter You in a powerful way. Remove the scales from her eyes, Lord, and let her see the truth of Your love and the destruction of sin. Draw her back to You, and if it is Your will, back to her husband.
For the husband, we pray for courage and humility. Give him the grace to lead his family spiritually, even in this difficult season. Let him be a man after Your own heart, seeking You above all else.
And for the children, Father, protect their hearts. Let them know Your love and faithfulness, even in the midst of their parents’ struggles. Raise them up to be mighty warriors for Your kingdom.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Restorer. Amen.
