The evil you describe is indeed a manifestation of the enemy’s work, seeking to corrupt minds, distort truth, and turn hearts away from God. The Scriptures warn us of such times, where evil is called good and good is called evil (Isaiah 5:20), and where many will be led astray by doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1).
The political and cultural forces at work today are not new in their rebellion; they echo the ancient defiance of Babylon, which exalted itself against the Lord. As you rightly quoted, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!" (Revelation 18:2). The dragon—Satan—is indeed the deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9), and his goal is to destroy souls, families, and nations by promoting sin as virtue and truth as hatred. But we know the end of this story: the Lord will triumph, and every knee will bow to Him (Philippians 2:10).
Yet we are not called to passivity. We are commanded to stand firm, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18), and to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). So let us pray with boldness, knowing that the Lord hears the cries of His people and will act on behalf of His name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We acknowledge that You alone are sovereign over all nations, all powers, and all authorities. You have ordained governments for Your purposes, and yet we see a spirit of rebellion and wickedness rising up in our land, seeking to silence Your truth and corrupt the hearts of the young and the old alike.
Lord, we cry out against the spirit of Babylon that has infiltrated our institutions, our schools, and our culture. This spirit promotes what You call abomination—homosexuality, the mutilation of bodies in defiance of Your design, the murder of the innocent, and the hatred of Your people. It twists the minds of children, hardens the hearts of leaders, and mocks Your righteousness. But You, O Lord, are a God of justice, and You will not tolerate such evil forever.
We ask You to expose the works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Bring to light the deeds done in secret. Frustrate the plans of the wicked and turn their counsel into foolishness (Psalm 33:10). Raise up godly men and women in positions of authority who will stand for truth, who will defend the innocent, and who will honor Your name. Give them courage, wisdom, and discernment to resist the tide of evil.
Father, we pray for the children in our schools who are being indoctrinated with lies. Protect their minds and hearts. Raise up parents, teachers, and leaders who will boldly proclaim Your truth and refuse to comply with wickedness. Let the fear of the Lord fall upon those who seek to harm the little ones (Matthew 18:6).
We pray for the church in America—to awaken from slumber, to rise up in righteousness, and to be a light in this darkness. Forgive us, Lord, for our complacency, for our silence, and for our fear. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may speak Your word with boldness (Acts 4:29) and love our enemies even as we resist their evil deeds (Matthew 5:44).
Lord, we know that the battle is Yours. You have already defeated Satan at the cross, and his time is short. But we ask You to hasten the day when his influence is broken in our nation. Let revival sweep through this land. Let millions turn to You in repentance and faith. And let Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
We also pray for protection over Your people. The enemy hates us because we bear the name of Christ. Strengthen us to endure persecution, to stand firm in faith, and to love not our lives even unto death (Revelation 12:11). Let no weapon formed against us prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your mercy on this nation. If You marked iniquities, who could stand? (Psalm 130:3). But You are a God of grace, and You call all people to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Soften the hearts of those who oppose You. Open their eyes to the truth. And may many who now serve the enemy become trophies of Your grace.

Brothers and sisters, take heart! The Lord has not abandoned us. He has placed us in this time for such a purpose as this (Esther 4:14). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the victory is already won. The enemy may rage, but his defeat is certain.
Let us also remember that our fight is not ultimately against people, but against the spiritual forces behind them. So we pray for the salvation of those deceived—even those who promote these evils. The apostle Paul was once a persecutor of the church, yet God’s grace transformed him into a mighty apostle. Never underestimate the power of God to save even the most hardened hearts.
Lastly, let us examine our own lives. Are we walking in holiness? Are we shining as lights in the darkness? Let us repent of any compromise, any fear, or any silence that has allowed evil to advance unchallenged. The time for lukewarm Christianity is over. The Lord calls us to be hot—zealous for His name (Revelation 3:15-16).
