An epidemic of..wrong beliefs?

You'd be surprised, sometimes things that happen in 2 different categories have more in common than you'd think.Take, for example, an epidemic of a physical sickness.Like, during flu season, how does it spread?One person in a family gets it, then another at close range because the germs have spread.And so on in the outside. Now take an "epidemic" of spiritual misinformation, or, if you call it, deception of the devil.How does it spread?Say, a parent is into the occult, the kids hear it, and they get this "germ" of unbelief spread to them.you could almost say they "caught it", from someone infected by those false beliefs.Like the flu starts with one or 2 people,then picks up steam and spreads,so too with the spiritual,and other sins of deception, like a teenager sees his friends take drugs, then it keeps spreading until it becomes the "in thing", and you're considered "square" and "old fashioned" if you don't do it.See how it starts out small, and then spreads , just like a flu epidemic?No, I don't mean someone into a false belief coughs and the other person "catches" the false belief. I'm just stating that there are similarities between the 2,do you notice it? Before a flu epidemic, you can get a shot to inoculate yourself against it.To inoculate yourself against wrong spiritual beliefs, you have to be grounded in the Word, hearing it and accepting it,that will keep you from "catching" the false beliefs of the world around you.
