An Amazing Story from my Journal

Several weeks ago there was a polo shirt in the backyard that my brother had left behind. I really wanted it and my normal reaction was to just take it feeling justified because he has a lot of clothes and does not seem to appreciate them but I believe God spoke to me and said, ‘That is stealing.’, so I left it there.

I kept seeing it just thrown in the yard and the temptation was for me to just take it still but I would remember that God told me not to.

Today my brother gave me a bag of clothes he did not want anymore. In that bag was the same exact polo shirt I had wanted from the backyard.

Wow! Talk about letting go and letting God. I was obedient to His call and God brought the shirt back to me. I am in such shock. I believe this is God’s way of showing me that He does hear me and He does want to give me the desires of my heart. Today it is the shirt, tomorrow it will be the restoration of my marriage.

What a lovely testimony of our loving God. I prayer Father that christiangnz's wife is restored also. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ,amen

Christian, another "let go and let God" story....

My husband and I have been separated for 6 months. We have been in this older home for 5 years. All this time we have talked about either painting or removing these big white spindles that line the dining room and entry way. When my husband didn't come home, I found projects to keep me busy...one of which was finally knocking out those spindles! It was the greatest release of stress and tension every!!! God saved that project for me for this time. He knew I would need the stress release! And when my husband came home for a talk, he actually noticed and loved my work. GOD IS GOOD! He knew exactly when the right time for me to knock out those spindles would be! And boy, was it fun!!

Lord, thank you for allowing us to realize when "your time" is and to let go and let you take charge of our lives.

Amen!!! Thanks Christian for that message and the example obedience shows...amazing. All we have to do is be obedient and be patient and the Lord will answer our prayers and give us the desires of our hearts. Praise God!!!
