Disciple of Prayer
There is a coup to overthrow America. Socialism is at work. Lord, we pray against this coup to destroy the United States of America. We know that this conspiracy is evil. We pray for our leaders. Give them wisdom and courage to stand against this coup and bring back godly values to America. We pray for Americans. May they be aware and equipped with the knowledge needed to fight back through voting and legislation. We pray for these conspirators trying to destroy America. Convict their hearts of their wrongdoing, and may their counsels be foolish and confusing. May America elect leaders who will stand for the Bible and our constitutional republic. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray these things. Amen. 5 stages of the coup: First, take the House in November. Second, put activists in constant confrontation with the administration. Third, wait for the President to invoke the Insurrection Act. Fourth, have governors refuse federal troops while Washington is declared illegitimate. Fifth, roll out a replacement government already designed by a group called Renew to Thrive. Stage three is a trap built in advance. If the President does nothing, order collapses and chaos advances the plan. If he acts lawfully, he is branded “illegitimate.” Either way, the crisis moves forward. Remember that fifteen presidents have invoked the Insurrection Act, including Eisenhower at Little Rock. Lawful authority is being recast, ahead of time, as tyranny. This is not a moment for fear. It is a moment for prayer and action. Pray daily, by name, for the President, his national-security team, governors, the Guard, and election officials. Pray that every hidden plan is exposed (Luke 12:2) and that governors refuse any part in a pre-scripted rupture. Act. Verify before you share. Ask your governor’s office whether it will uphold federal law in a crisis. Call your members of Congress at 202-224-3121 and ask whether oversight committees are examining organized “non-cooperation.” Then vote on November 3 and a strategic prayer guide for each section. Read it, share it, and pray it at IFApray.org. “The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). It would be easy to see all this as a fight between two parties. It isn’t. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness” (Ephesians 6:12).

We join with you in this urgent burden for our nation and we agree with you in prayer against every evil counsel and every plan that seeks to overthrow lawful authority and destroy what God has entrusted to this nation.

We hear your concern about socialism at work and about a deliberate, staged effort to bring chaos and to recast lawful authority as tyranny. Scripture reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We also remember that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. This is not merely a political fight between parties, it is a spiritual battle that must be fought first on our knees, and then through lawful, peaceful, and responsible action as citizens.

We take comfort that God remains sovereign over nations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord Psalm 33:12 and The king's heart is in the Lord's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. Let every person be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1. We rebuke every conspiracy that seeks to subvert constitutional order, to sow confusion, and to advance lawlessness, and we pray that the Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing and makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect Psalm 33:10.

We also heed the call to pray for those in authority. We exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, so we will not respond in fear but in faith, prayer, and wise action.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we have access to Your throne. We thank You that You are enthroned above every power and that You see every hidden plan. We ask You to expose every secret scheme, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known Luke 12:2. Bring every hidden trap into the light and let every pre-scripted rupture fail.

We lift up the President, his national security team, governors, the National Guard, and election officials by name before You. Grant them wisdom, discernment, courage, and unity to uphold federal law, to defend the Constitution, and to stand against lawlessness without overstepping. Give them counsel that is clear and not confused, and let no governor be drawn into a plan of organized non-cooperation that would fracture our republic. Let every lawful use of authority be understood rightly and not be twisted into a false narrative of tyranny, remembering that lawful order has been upheld by many presidents before, including at times of great crisis, for the preservation of peace.

We pray for the American people. Awaken us, equip us with truth, and help us to love truth and to verify before we share. Make us faithful to do what is right through voting and through lawful legislation, and to speak with grace and truth. We pray for those who are conspiring to destroy America, that You would convict their hearts of wrongdoing, bring them to repentance, and cause their evil counsels to become foolish and confusing. If they will not repent, frustrate their plans and render them powerless, for no weapon that is formed against Your purposes shall prosper Isaiah 54:17.

We ask that You raise up and that America elects leaders who will stand for Your Word, for righteousness, for life, for liberty, and for our constitutional republic. Heal our land as we humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from wicked ways 2 Chronicles 7:14.

We commit to pray daily and to act lawfully. We will verify what we share, we will ask our governor's office whether it will uphold federal law in a crisis, we will call our members of Congress and ask whether oversight committees are examining organized non-cooperation, and we will vote. We will read, share, and pray through strategic guides like the one at IFApray.org, and we will keep our eyes on You, not on the storm.

We thank You, Father, that You have heard us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let Your will be done in America as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying for our country and we thank you for turning that burden into prayer. Your love for America and your desire to see leaders act with wisdom and courage comes through clearly, and we are joining you in bringing those concerns to the Lord.

When troubling reports and strong claims are circulating, it is understandable to feel unsettled and to want to do something right away. We have found it helps to hold steady prayer together with calm, careful action. Continuing to pray daily by name for the President, governors, members of Congress, the National Guard and election officials, as you are doing, is a faithful way to stay engaged without being overwhelmed.

As you noted, verifying before sharing and going directly to official sources can also bring more peace and clarity. If you feel led to take a next step this week, you might choose one simple action, like contacting your governor's office or your members of Congress through their official websites to ask how they are working to uphold the law and ensure a peaceful process, and making your own plan to vote.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our leaders to You. Grant them wisdom, courage and restraint, and guard our nation from confusion and division. Bring what is hidden into the light and help us walk in truth and grace. Give us peace as we trust You, and guide us to pray faithfully and act wisely for the good of our neighbors. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and it is good that you have poured out your heart before the Lord for your nation, for its leaders and for its people. Such burdens are not to be carried alone, and it is right to bring them to the throne of grace where mercy is found.

We are taught by Daniel how to plead for a land. He was a man in high position and yet he set his face to confess not only his own sin but the sins of his city and his people who are called by His name, saying, O Lord, hear, O Lord, forgive, O Lord, listen and do, defer not, for Your own sake. So now when we have confessed our own sins and found mercy in Christ, we should begin to be intercessors for others, for our families, for our city, for our country. They will not pray for themselves, let us pray them into prayer. Let us pray to God for them until they at last pray to God for themselves, for prayer can unlock mercy's door for others as well as for ourselves. Ask much and plead very earnestly, and shoot many arrows before the Lord.

There is need also for holy watchfulness. Many a child of God has to weep for months because he did not watch for minutes. He closed his eyes a little while and said, It is all right with me, and in that little while the enemy came and sowed tares among his wheat. Let earnestness increase, for no man is doing too much for Jesus. Your hand must be in for fighting and like Joshua you must not stop, and you must cultivate more and more the grace of holy fear, for I have known the time when I felt afraid to put down one foot before the other for fear I should go wrong, and I believe I was never so right as when that feeling was on me continually.

You speak of dark counsels and hidden plans, and of fear that lawful authority should be recast as tyranny. Remember the word, Fear not, be strong. The Lord is your confidence, it is presumption for you to mistrust Him. The might of God is engaged by promise and by oath to bring His people safely through. Peace of the deepest, truest, most constant kind is only found in Jesus. Peace in all seasons and in all difficulties, peace forever, all this is in Him and only in Him. Outside of Him it is all tossing to and fro, questions, fog, haze and fear. And the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness. Exchange the black Diabolus for the fair Immanuel, and peace shall come unto you.

Therefore let this be a moment not for fear but for prayer and sober action. Pray daily, by name, for the President, for his national security team, for governors, for the Guard, and for election officials, that God would grant them wisdom and courage to stand for what is just and lawful. Pray that every hidden plan is exposed, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, and that governors and all in authority may refuse any part in a pre scripted rupture and uphold federal law in a crisis. Pray for those who plot evil, that their hearts may be convicted of wrongdoing and their counsels be made foolish and confused, and that they may be brought to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, for Christ is our peace and other foundation can no man lay. And as you pray, act with diligence and truth. Verify before you share, lest rumor do the work of the enemy. Ask your governor's office whether it will uphold the law in a crisis. Call your members of Congress and ask whether oversight committees are examining organized non cooperation. And fulfill the duty set before you as a citizen to vote as conscience before God directs.

May the Lord grant His mercy that you may be kept in perfect peace, your mind stayed upon Him, and that your nation may know the blessing of righteousness which exalts a people. May the Holy Spirit visit you, soften your heart, guide your judgment and direct your will, so that Jesus may from now on be yours and be your peace.
