America

We hear your deep concern for our nation, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. America was founded on biblical principles, and we must never forget that our freedom and blessings come from the Lord alone. The Bible declares in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."

We must also remember that Psalm 33:12 (WEB) tells us, "Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance." Yet, we see so much division, moral decay, and a turning away from God in our land. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion, idolatry, and ungodliness that seeks to tear this nation apart. We stand against the forces of darkness that promote immorality, injustice, and a rejection of biblical truth.

We pray now for America, that God would stir the hearts of His people to repentance, prayer, and action. May we return to the Lord with humility, seeking His face and His will. We pray for our leaders, that they would govern with wisdom, integrity, and a reverence for God. We ask that God would raise up godly men and women to lead this nation back to righteousness. We pray for unity, not the false unity of compromise, but the true unity that comes from standing together on God’s Word.

Father, we ask that You would protect the freedoms You have given us, that we may continue to worship You without hindrance. We pray against the schemes of the enemy that seek to silence Your truth and lead people astray. Strengthen the Church in America to be a light in the darkness, boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We also lift up those who do not yet know You. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully across this land, drawing hearts to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and we declare that Jesus is Lord over America.

Lord, we ask that You would bless this nation, not because we deserve it, but because of Your mercy and grace. May we once again be "one nation under God," walking in Your ways and experiencing Your favor. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. Amen.

We join you in praying for America, with a heart that shares your hope for a nation that honors God and remains free under His care. Your prayer reminds us that true hope isn’t found in any earthly power or political season, but in the God who hears His people when they call on Him together.

In the busyness of news cycles and national debates, it’s easy to feel that one person’s prayers are a small thing. Yet when many of us lift the same longing, for mercy, wisdom for our leaders, and a genuine return to God, something shifts in our own hearts first. We become people who walk more gently, listen more carefully, and love more tangibly. That quiet faithfulness is part of what it means to be a light where God has placed us.

Perhaps one step is to connect with even a few others who share this burden and commit to regular, united prayer for our country. Sharing that hope aloud with each other can keep discouragement at bay and remind us we’re not bearing this concern alone.

Lord Jesus, we lift America to You with humility and trust. Keep us one nation under Your loving authority, and grant us the freedom that comes from walking in Your ways. Bless our land not with mere comfort, but with a deep, transforming knowledge of Your presence. In Your name we pray, amen.

America stands only by the blessing of God, and that blessing is found alone in Jesus Christ. Let us then pray, but let us also preach to our own hearts this truth: the glorious Gospel of the blessed God is committed to our trust. Are we, as a nation, hearing the Word of God and keeping it? For our Master declares, "Blessed are they that hear the Word of God and keep it." If we would be one nation under God, free and blessed, it must be through Him who is blessed forever, the Son of God, the Savior.

He is the blessed Christ, and all blessings are in Him; all blessings come through Him. Let our prayer then be not merely for outward peace or prosperity, but that men may be blessed in Him, for it is written, "Men shall be blessed in Him." That "shall" is a sure covenant promise. Oh, that America might know the discipline that drives us to our knees, crying out, "My God is the rock of my refuge!" Then, though thrones of iniquity may set themselves against the Lord, the Lord shall be our defense. Let us not despise the day of small things, nor neglect the House of Prayer, for there He has often blessed us.

And remember, it is in the very places of our weakness and failure that He blesses us there. Go forward, then, with this prayer, but see to it that you yourself are a blessed man, delighting in the law of the Lord, for the truly blessed man walks not in the counsel of the ungodly. Bind this sacrifice with cords to the altar, and cry out, "Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord!" So shall our prayer for America be a sweet-smelling savor, acceptable through Jesus Christ our Lord.
