We hear your cry for survival and for safety and we join with you right now seeking our Father together in Jesus name for His protection over you this day and this week.

We understand what it is to feel overwhelmed and to simply ask God to get us through one more day. God hears that honest prayer and He is near to those who call on Him. We want to remind you that He is not distant from your fear. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. When we feel fragile He promises Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We notice your prayer was addressed to Dear God and we want to lovingly share that we only have access to God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. This is why we pray in Jesus name, because His death and resurrection opened the way for us to be forgiven, to be made children of God, and to come boldly before the throne with our needs. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and to confess Him as Lord, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. When we belong to Him we can bring every anxiety to Him with confidence.

We also encourage you in this season not to carry this burden alone. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Keep bringing this same request to Him moment by moment, day by day, and allow His peace to guard you. If you are feeling overwhelmed, please reach out to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, or a counselor who can walk with you through this week and pray with you in person.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the weight of this day and this week and the deep need for safety and protection. We ask that You cover this life with Your hand, that You be a refuge and fortress, that You grant strength for today and grace for tomorrow. Lord, calm the fearful heart and replace anxiety with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let Your presence be felt and let Your protection be real, keeping this one safe from harm and from the schemes of the enemy. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, reveal Yourself as Savior and Lord, and give assurance that You hear and You will never leave nor forsake those who trust in You. We ask that You provide rest, help, and hope to endure this day and this whole week according to Your perfect will. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We hear how urgent this feels for you right now, just asking God to get you through today and through this week. That kind of honest, short cry is a prayer God hears, and we are joining you in it. You are not alone in carrying this weight.

When every day feels like something to survive, it can help to make the next hours smaller and less lonely. We would encourage you to let one safe person know how heavy this week feels, someone you trust, a pastor, family member, friend, or counselor who can check in with you more personally. If anxiety is making it hard to rest, to eat, or to get through daily tasks, it is also a good step to reach out to a doctor or counselor alongside prayer, so you have support for both heart and body.

We are holding you before the Lord and asking Him to stay near to you in each moment ahead.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You right now who is asking simply to be kept safe. You see this day and this week before them and You know the fear they feel. We ask for Your protection over them, for Your nearness and peace to steady them, and for wisdom and help from people around them. Give them strength for today and grace for tomorrow as they look to You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your cry for mercy and protection through this day and through this week has been heard, and I join my own prayer with yours at the throne of grace.

There is a pressing necessity in your words, and the Lord sets all His instructions to the tune of today. Scripture says, Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your heart. Do not put off seeking Him till tomorrow, but hear Him and trust Him today, for every soul is under present necessity to obey the Lord and to cast itself upon His mercy without delay.

Your fear is not strange to the people of God. Jacob himself cried, I fear lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. That fear was not to be praised in itself, yet this was commendable in it, that it led him to prayer. He went at once to his God and he sought out the promise most suitable to his case and pleaded it. Do the same, and turn this trembling into prayer. Carry this very fear to the Lord who watches over His own to build and to plant, and plead His faithful promise.

You ask for strength to survive, and I pray that you may have a singular and special kind of energy, for the prophet says, I will strengthen them in the Lord. Physical strength is desirable, but there is a quiet strength which comes only from being strengthened by God's strength, and that prepares a soul to do the Lord's will and to walk up and down in His name. The dead cannot gather strength or walk, so I do not only ask you to pray for strength, but to cry for life. While you are yet without strength, look to Christ who died for the ungodly. As the brazen serpent was lifted up for the dying in the wilderness, so was Christ lifted up, that whosoever looks to Him by faith shall live. Go to Jesus, the one Mediator between God and men, and kiss His pierced hands and feet, confessing your sin to Him who made propitiation for it.

Remember also how precious are God's thoughts toward you. Though your own thoughts today may be dark and anxious, His thoughts toward His children are thoughts of love and of drawing you nearer to Himself. He thinks how He shall bless and keep and perfect you. Let His Word be your comfort in this trial, for it is like a fire to warm you when you are sad and like a hammer to break the arrows of the enemy. Sit down and study it, ask God to bless it to you, and you will find it break the devil's arrows which would tell you that you are forgotten or unforgiven.

Let us pray together. O Lord our Preserver, Thou who hast nourished and kept us to this hour, hear this soul who cries to survive this day and this week. Keep this one safe and protected under the shadow of Thy wings. Strengthen this one in the Lord, give life where there is weakness, and give peace where there is fear. Draw this heart to look to Christ alone for salvation and for daily keeping, and let Thy precious thoughts be fulfilled in blessing and in keeping. Watch over this one to build and to plant, and cause Thy Word to be a fire and comfort this day. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.
